New Short Story for Patrons - "The Subway Succubus"

This was originally intended to be for Literotica's Halloween contest, but I tried to finish two stories before the deadline and predictably failed to finish both.

Currently it's patron-only, but I've just submitted it to Literotica and it should appear there in 3-4 days (assuming it doesn't get rejected - this one is a little nasty).

The inspiration was a viral video I saw floating around on social media.  I turned it into a little succubus horror tale for Halloween.

As I feared might happen, Literotica rejected it for being a little too horrifying.  Probably a good thing I didn't finish this one in time for the competition!  Sometimes I can chase up on these things and get the decision reversed, but I think I'll leave this one as a temporary patron-exclusive until I find a home for it in a collection.

New Story on Literotica - "The Succubus in Mr Herbert's Summer House"

 As I said in the last post, the new short story, "The Succubus in Mr Herbert's Summer House" has been entered into Literotica's Halloween contest.  The contest has begun and the story is now live.  You can read it here:

The Succubus in the Summer House

Two local toughs in a seaside town are given a job by a grizzled old mobster.  They must 'babysit' Mr Herbert's summer house for the night, and the mysterious woman tied-up on a bed inside...

(I had to truncate the original title as Literotica story titles have a character limit.)

Quick note on Literotica contests.  Because of the way the scoring works, voting lower than a 5 for anything is actually worse than not voting at all.  Also, don't do anything silly like downvote other stories to help mine.  While there is a prize, the contests are a bit of fun and not to be taken seriously.  I doubt this one will be a contender anyway because of the nature of the story. ;)

Also, yes, I'm aware of the formatting problem with the sentences in italics.  There shouldn't be two extra lines of white space after the sentences.  I'm guessing it's because the closing italics tag was put on the next line and Literotica formatted it oddly.  So, sorry about that.

New Short Story - "The Succubus in Mr Herbert's Summer House"

Two street punks in a seaside town are given a strange job watching over a house and a mysterious girl tied up on a bed.

The timed exclusivity is shorter on this one as I'm planning to enter it into Literotica's Halloween Story Contest next week.

It was originally planned for Literotica's Summer Contest, but took me too long to finish and I missed the deadline (my succubi like playing with their food far too much!).  It's a conventional erotic horror succubus story, so it should also fit the theme for a Halloween contest as well.

If you can't wait, the lowest (and only) tier on my Patreon is just a $1.  (plus tax, I think they're starting to hit people with that now.)

New H-space Short Story for patrons - "A Sweet and Deadly Taste of Milk"

 A squad of soldiers investigates a mysterious Japanese castle transplanted out into the middle of H-space.  There are reports of a mysterious woman roaming the walls.

This is the other H-space story with a lactation/breastfeeding theme I had in progress.  It's quite long at 7K words, but more where I want the H-space stories to be in future.  (When the bestiary entries are fleshed out into full stories in their own right).

As with all the Patreon-exclusive stories, I am planning to put them in Amazon collections at some point further down the line.  I suspect I have enough for a collection or two now and Excessica probably want to know if I'm still alive.  Watch this space.

In the meantime, I don't want people to feel left out.  I have an idea for Literotica's current Summer Story contest and I'm hoping I can get that written in time.

As for House of Hellish Harlots, that isn't abandoned.  I just needed to take a break and work on some regular stories.  After the contest story is done, I'm planning to get back to work on that.

New H-space Story for Patrons - "Breastfeeding as a Combat Art"

As you might have gathered, I got a bit locked up on ver0.013 of House of Hellish Harlots.  It sometimes happens.  My brain can be a stubborn ass when it wants and just flat up refuse to work on some things from time to time.  After a fallow June and struggling for most of the start of July, I realised banging my head against the wall wasn't doing much, so switched tack to work on some short story projects to try and unblock.

This ended up being another look at the H-space bestiary stories.  A while back I spent some time trying to write a H-space bestiary story featuring a new monster girl every month.  This was fun, but ultimately not a good career plan as I ended up with 30 or so stories I didn't know what to do with.  Personally, I think they're a little too short and shallow to publish.  As an ongoing project I've been picking some of the better ones and revamping them into 'proper' short stories I can one day gather into a themed collection.

I posted an updated version of the sun lamia story for patrons that fleshes out the protagonist a bit more and adds more world-building and descriptions of the temple.

I also revisited an old short story idea I started a year ago, but didn't really get anywhere on.  I posted that for patrons as a very early edit.

"Breastfeeding as a Combat Art."

This isn't a shift away from the House of Hellish Harlots, but an ongoing project I'll continue to dip into if I find I need a break from the main game project.  Revamping the original H-space stories takes a surprising amount of time to get right.  At some point I'll have enough and put them out (along with some brand new stories) as ebook.

For now I intend getting back to the House of Hellish Harlots game project and hope to have a proper public demo out either before the end of the year, or very early 2021.

House of Hellish Harlots ver 0.012 (2nd part of Nurse Honey release)

I've finished the second part of the NPC Nurse release for "The House of Hellish Harlots".  This adds the three harlots that I didn't get time to finish for the last release.  Spending a little longer also enable me to also add their repeat visit functionality.

Repeat visit functionality is one aspect that has changed for the project.  Initially, I envisioned it as the player surviving 13 or so encounters and then "winning".  Adding functionality so the player can see a favourite harlot again, and the scenario might be slightly different has opened up other possibilities, such as adding subquests where seeing the same harlot over multiple visits unlocks new scenes and options.

The project is still ticking along nicely.  I hope to get a website version everyone can enjoy at some point, but I think that's still 3-4 months off with the amount of work I still need to do for a base demo.
