Art of Sorpresa Ombra (from House of Hellish Harlots)

Let's start the first week of October with something nice.

This is Sorpresa Ombra.  She's one of the harlots that can be found within the "House of Hellish Harlots" (the public demo of which can be played here).  She specialises in smothering men between those lovely big boobs of hers.

After seeing how Queen Colubridis turned out, I ran a poll for patrons to pick the next harlot to have art created for and Sorpresa was the winner of that.  She turned out really nice, I think.  Sinuously seductive.

Public Demo Version of "House of Hellish Harlots" Updated to v0.034

In a nice problem for a content creator to have, I have a couple of new(ish) things coming out at the same time.

First up, the last of my old collections, "A Succubus for Saint Patrick's Day", is back up and available to buy as an ebook.  Check the previous post for more details on that.

Because it's a new month, we also have the regular upgrade to the "House of Hellish Harlots" interactive fiction project.  The public website version has been updated to v0.034.  This adds two new harlots:

Huntress Levka (and her 'hounds' Minyette and Zhopa)
This is Huntress 2.  When creating the 'wrestling' faction, I had the idea for a trio of huntress scenarios similar to the 3 Pels of the artificial being faction.  Like Diana, Levka wants you to 'fight' her hounds.  Unlike Diana, she has two of them.

The two 'hounds', Minyette and Zhopa, are primitive lust daemons (but still clearly sapient despite being used as 'hunting hounds').  I took a little inspiration from GW's Slaanesh demons for their design, but made them a little less spiky and also more explicit in what they can do.

Levka was originally a big muscular oni, but trying to write her with Russian 'hulkspeak' just didn't work at all.  I think the huntress lore I created with Diana seems to have been well-received, so it made more sense to make Levka a slightly wilder member of the same hunting manor.

Huntress Levka is intended as a Tier 2 harlot, but towards the bottom end in difficulty (round 6 or 7).

L'iaculatia
This is the dodgeball arachne.  Her scenario takes some ideas from the old "Escape the Arachne" CYOA, but is completely rewritten and with a different character.

She references quite a few stats, but it's mostly behind scenes.  She will probably be a Tier 1 harlot, but is borderline between Tier 1 & 2.  She has a few stat checks, but there are multiple ways to make them easier.

L'iaculatia was another weird one to type up.  On my side it looks like a ton of variations, but as the tests are done behind scenes, the player will mostly be reading and pressing continue.  I'm still iffy on this as a design philosophy.  It made sense for the early design, but the scenarios were intended to be a lot shorter.

Patrons are two releases ahead.  I gave them v0.036 at the end of the month.  This only adds one new harlot, Succuba, but she's a very versatile succubus with 10 different sex scenes.  I wouldn't say she's 10-harlots-in-1 as her scenes are deliberately quite short, but at 9,000 words she's one of the longer harlot scenarios.

This is the last of the ebooks that needed republishing after my previous publisher closed at the end of last year.  As with the others, I've given it a new cover and added an afterword that gives a behind-scenes look at how the stories were written.

Some of the stories (in slightly rougher form) can already be found online on places like Literotica.  To make the collections worth buying, I always add some stories that can't be found anywhere else.  This includes the eponymous story "A Succubus for Saint Patrick's Day", where the nameless succubus from the succubus tablet is sowing chaos again. "A Special Tube of Lube" is a new story with Eryx and Eunectes and calls back to their first appearance as they return to collect a debt. I try again to write pulp fantasy with "Rogue vs Lamia".  "Crabs" has appeared in another anthology, but you can enjoy it in all its nastiness here.  There's also the obligatory Nicole story (with a title that got me in trouble at Kobo), plus a couple of other original stories (one of which with a title that is clearly too long, but also throws some hints as to what the witch Annette Brite is up to with her succubi).

This is the 6th and last of my old collections.  All of my books are now back on sale.  The next time I make one of these posts it will be for a brand new collection.  The 7th collection is currently in progress and hopefully I'll be able to unveil that soon.

This is the 5th of 6 collections I'm currently republishing after my previous publisher closed down last year.  To mark the occasion I've redone the covers and added an afterword with additional commentary on the stories.  If you already have the original, you probably don't need this, but I'm not going to say no to the extra royalties if someone wants to pick them up to support my writing.

Some of these stories are up on places like Literotica.  The versions in the ebook can be considered final(ish) edits.  As always there are some stories that don't show up anywhere else.  "A Succubus for Remembrance" is a slightly different take on the usual succubus tablet story.  "The Skinning Knife" originally showed up in one of Excessica's anthology and is a different type of horror story to my usual work.  "Hugh the Hero" closes out a triptych of hell-space stories.  "Slugjob" is... I have no idea what I was thinking there.  There are also two more "Ways to Break a Good Man" stories, although they're not connected apart from the title similarities.  Lastly, there's "Nazi vs Succubus".

I don't normally do the warning thing, but "Nazi vs Succubus" is pretty 'no-holds-barred' even for me.  If you read my stories mainly for the erotica content rather than the horror, I'd skip that one.

I think I've set it up okay, but there's always a chance I might have boomered something up.

I've been meaning to do this for a while and finally got around to it.  I know some people would like to support me, but have either ethical or technical problems with Patreon.  Given that Patreon has deplatformed people in the past with minimal warning, I felt it was also important to have a backup just in case their Trust & Safety Team decides to get Orwellian again.

I'm not sure how it will work out.  I'd like to give it a couple of months to see what they're like in terms of ease of payouts, etc.  If you're already on Patreon, don't jump across just yet.  If you're not but would like to support me (and receive early looks at new stories and game releases), I hope SubscribeStar meets your needs.

Currently, I've just added the latest "House of Hellish Harlots" release (v0.035).

Public Demo Version of "House of Hellish Harlots" Updated to v0.033

This is a short update that just adds the one new harlot - Kiki Sumoppai.  Unfortunately that month coincided with the battles with Amazon KDP's Content Review Team to get my short story collections republished, so I wasn't as free to devote as much time to HoHH as I'd have liked.

Here are some details on the new harlot:

Kiki Sumoppai
Known rather unflattering as 'Gas Balloon Tits Wrestler' until I gave her a proper name, she's a big-titted bimbo succubus that specialises in erotic 'wrestling'.  Wrestling gets the scare quotes for reasons you'll understand when you play her scenario.

She's intended as a Tier 3 harlot in terms of difficulty, which means she's very hard to survive.  You'll need some outside help to return from her room.

Patreon is now two versions ahead at v0.035.  After all the problems with Amazon, I tried to make up for it with a very busy August.  That resulted in a v0.034 release containing the two harlots I couldn't finish in time for the end of July release (Huntress Levka and the arachne L'iaculatia).  I was also able to get two more harlots added in time for an end of August release (butterfly girl Pavitra Titalee and another erotic wrestler readers might remember from one of my short stories - Epicratea, the Ebony Succubus).

I'll be maintaining a two month gap between the public and Patreon releases from now on.  Living costs are going up and creator needs to pay his bills.
