The obligatory blurb:

Think paranormal erotica is only about sparkly vampires and fluffy werewolves?  Think again!  You’re about to enter the bizarre and twisted universe of M. E. Hydra.  His sexy succubi and other assorted femme fatales will give you a wild ride, but be careful they don’t eat you whole in the process.

This, his fifth collection, contains thirteen tales of darkest erotica.  A terrifying succubus wreaks vengeance on a group of former soldiers in “A Succubus for Remembrance”.  A man is sent by his therapist to an unusual nudist camp in “Iron Girders and Steel Springs”.  Two lovers look to a magical artefact to solve their problems in “The Skinning Knife”.  A sinister mobster engages sexy diabolic help to demonstrate “Ways to Break a Good Man, #1” (and no.2 and 3).  Bizarre and imaginative sex demons abound in a triptych of tales set in the hell-space universe.  Also includes an extra bonus tale, “Nazi vs Succubus,” for lovers of extreme, no-holds-barred fiction.

You will be surprised, shocked and aroused by these and other tales of fiendish femme fatales.  They'll give you pleasures beyond your wildest dreams, and terrors beyond your darkest nightmares...

As you might have seen from all the recent posts, I'm republishing all my old short story collections with new covers and an afterword giving some insight on how the stories came to be written.

While most of them can be found up on Literotica, these are the finalised versions (after a thorough edit).  There are also some stories that can only be found in this collection such as the eponymous "A Succubus for Remembrance" and the (probably) too-extreme-for-Literotica "Nazi vs Succubus".

The official release date is Sep 9th.

  1. The cat girl in the Iron Girders story mentioned that Inari sometimes hunts over there. It's been a while and we still don't know what Inari is. Is she a werefox or a kitsune? She's definitely a beast type monster.

She's most likely pretty strong if the snake girl Amanda was scared of her turning her into boots if she accidentally killed the nice guy.

    1. She's pretty powerful, but I'm keeping info close to my chest so the reveals are surprises when they show up in stories.

  2. Nice cover. Will Traeger be secretly a warlock or get his hands on magic weapons? You said that he would become a fearsome demon hunter, but he's going to need more than just silver bullets and knives because you did make the succubi a little OP.

He's not going to fair well against Phil's succubi, or Kootnz bodyguard succubus, or even Nicole. My man only won that fight because his friend was gay and more resistant to the succubus sex charms.

Worse is the fact that the succubus Traeger and his buddy fought wasn't even that high level and still dominated both of them in a fight when they are both well trained soldiers and only won because of the gay factor.

    1. The prison camp warden succubus was pretty powerful if I remember right. Traeger and Kroger also weren't really trained soldiers. If I remember my research correctly, they were auxiliaries - barely willing recruits.

After then he gets a lot more adept at fighting succubi. I have quite a few stories planned I need to write.

There's also some magic involved to slow his aging down. I have quite a few plans for that character. Just need to find the time to write them!

  3. I've read through all the "nice" monster girl stories like with Nicole, Amanda, and Corene and I noticed a pattern. Why is it that the succubi and monster girls get to punish and kill bad/evil human males, but its never a case where a good man defeats/kills an evil succubus/monster girl?

Nicole killing the human serial killer doctor was awesome, but what human male was going to punish the Subway succubus? Or those terrible succubi that murdered a kid in the Sweetheart Removal story?

Why do you have it only swing one way Me Hydra? Let me guess, because of femdom?

    1. Partly femdom, but also the constraints of expectation.

If I have a character turn the tables and kill the succubus before she snu-snus him to death, it would be an unexpected twist, but it would likely leave most readers unhappy as they were expecting a hot sex scene.

It's something I'm trying to figure out - how to explicitly show the humans getting a few wins while still having the sexy content people are expecting. Maybe a series that shows the succubus do her thing to random non-name character and then get offed by a main succubus hunter character.

  4. It's most likely because of the femdom dude. I was reading Shrimp and the Crab Centaur girls and it was just so stupid how the entire squad of soldiers couldn't fight back. Yes their rifles didn't work that i can forgive, what I won't forgive is the fact that the men stood there like morons and stared at the horde of crab girls walking towards them.

You could say they had a mesmerizing aura around them but I call bull crap because they looked disgusting. I don't care how hot the girl part is, they are GIANT crabs walking at them. The crabs didn't even ambush them, they just walked up to the group of men while the men were standing around doing nothing but staring. Jesus.

    1. If I remember that story right, there is a mesmerising aura involved and the men don't really snap out of it until they're surrounded and it's too late.

Mind control/hypnotism is tricky to depict when writing from a tight 3rd person PoV (as opposed to omniscient where you can just tell the reader someone has been hypnotised/charmed). Often, the viewpoint character doesn't realise they've been mind controlled, and if they don't know it, then the reader has to infer it from the character's thoughts and actions. If a previously sane character suddenly decides it's a really good idea to go and kiss the obviously dangerous demon woman, just assume they've been charmed and don't know it.

There are some 'wins' in H-space. I have some ideas jotted down. It was a shame the bestiary ran out of steam as there were some good reveals in that and some proper good old fashioned heroism from a character. I need to get back to that at some point (but flesh the stories out properly so I can publish them later).

  5. Hello there- I bought all your books years ago but stopped following after the stories tapered off. I would like to know if the stories are the same as in the past. Thank you.

    1. Yep. Same books but with different covers. My last publisher closed, so I'm putting them back up under my own personal account. I tend to post new stories to Patreon nowadays, although I've mostly been working on the "House of Hellish Harlots" interactive fiction project for the past year or so.

I'm hoping to get a new collection out before the end of the year. It's trying to find the time juggling between multiple projects.
