Okasare Kenny 1-5: Sulpa

The posting schedule is still a little erratic, but I'm trying to get on top of it.  Also, Sulpa has finally grown tired of playing with her food, so the usual NSFW and Don't-be-here-if-you're-younger-than-18 warnings apply.

1-5: Sulpa

"Wait!  Did you just say you were a succubus?  As in sex demon vampire thing succubus?"

"Yes," Sulpa said.  "Isn't it obvious?"

She pointed to the horns on top of her head.  She partially extended her gossamer bat wings.  She even grabbed her tail and waggled the tip in Ken's direction."

"Those are real?"

"Yes," Sulpa said.  "What did you think they were?"

"I thought I was seeing things," Ken said.  "Because of what Celestrico did to me."

Assuming Celestrico had done anything to him.  He had made an accord with his brain that he was going to treat everything that looked obviously weird as not there until his head cleared up.  That had fallen down around his feet.

"So this—all I'm seeing—is real?"

"Yes," Sulpa answered.  She seemed both bemused and amused.

Ken sprang backwards and reached for the sword at his belt.  His feet tangled in a cushion on the floor and he lost balance, nearly tipping over.

Sulpa arched an eyebrow.  "What are you doing?"

"You're a succubus—a sex demon vampire thing."

"Yes."

"You're going to suck all my energy out."

Ken managed to unsheathe his sword and waved it defensively in front of him.  Celestrico was right.  Fuck, she was right.

Sulpa didn't vamp out and attempt to fang him in the throat.  She watched his antics with puzzled amusement.

"Succubi do absorb some of their partner's energies during sexual intercourse, but we don't have to take it all," she said.  "And it wouldn't be good business in my line of work.  If I ate my clients I'd quickly run out of clients."

The tip of Ken's sword wavered but didn't drop.

"You look a little on-edge," Sulpa said.  "Why don't I leave you alone to rest and get your head back in order.  We can always have a good long fuck in the morning when you're feeling better."

"So you're just a prostitute that also happens to be a succubus?" Ken asked.

"It's a good arrangement," Sulpa said with a sultry smile.  "My food comes to me and pays for the pleasure of being fed upon."

Ken felt like an idiot.  Again.

She wasn't going to attack him.  She was just a pretty little hooker.

A pretty little hooker with wings and horns, but still a pretty little hooker.

He lowered his sword.

"My head is completely fucked up," he said.  "I keep seeing images of another world, one where everything's more advanced and there's no magic or demons.  It feels so real as well.  Like I'm from there originally.  Is that possible?"

"Celestrico really scrambled your brains," Sulpa said sympathetically.

"I just can't remember," he snarled in frustration.

Sulpa glided up to him.  Her warm hands slipped beneath his tunic and caressed his chest.

"You've had a rough day," she cooed.  "Let the soft touch of a woman soothe you."

She pressed her body against his.  Her perfume—spicy and exotic—bloomed around him in a cloud.

"A nice relaxing fuck with a mistress of pleasure is exactly what you need," Sulpa breathed in his ear.

That sounded like a bloody good idea to Ken.

But...

"This feeding, does it hurt?"

Amusement glimmered in Sulpa's dark eyes.  "It's extremely pleasurable," she said.  "My clients wouldn't be so eager to come back if it wasn't."

She tilted her fulsome lips up to his ear.

"I suck big, fat, juicy orgasms out of their cocks until they're writhing helplessly with pleasure."

Ken's heart fluttered before finding a new, faster pace.  Blood surged to his crotch.

"And if you don't believe me...  You're bigger than me.  Stronger.  More muscular."

Her lithe body squirmed in his arms.  Her hands found and gently squeezed his biceps.

"I'm sure a big strong hero like you would have no problems throwing a tiny little whore like me off you if you thought she'd drank enough."

Yes, that was right.  He could always stop her if it started to look dangerous.

He let her help him undo his belt and then remove his silly swords'n'sandal-wear.  Her hands and soft lips roamed all over his exposed flesh.  She pressed closer and he felt the little nubs of her nipples rub against his chest.  They left little streamers of pleasure in their wake.  Her lips wrapped around his nipple and he felt a blissful jolt as her lapping tongue tickled it.  Her hand found his erection and gently slithered up and down the shaft.

She looked up at him with dark, hungry eyes.  "Let's go to bed."

That also sounded like a really splendid idea.

He let her manoeuvre him around towards the bed.  The back of his legs came up against the mattress and he let himself fall backwards into its soft clasp.

And it was soft.  Soft and extremely comfortable.  He slithered further back until his whole body rested in the centre of the massive bed.  Sulpa came with him, on top and raining soft kisses down on him all the way.  Her hand continued to gently stroke his erection.

Her lips moved up his body until they finally found his mouth.  She lay on top of him and they shared a dreamy kiss.

Dimly, Ken realised his left hand was still wrapped around something.  He let go of it so he could put his arms around Sulpa and lose himself totally in the kiss.

She broke it off and what seemed a blissful eternity.  She stared down at him with her big, dark eyes.  They were like whirlpools.  They pulled him in and drowned him.

"Let's fuck," she whispered.

And let's pause it there because I am evil personified.  This time it will definitely continue tomorrow as I got carried away and wrote so much for part 1-5 I ended up splitting it into two parts.

Okasare Kenny 1-4: Sulpa

And we're back!  Sorry about that.  The pause ended up being a little longer than anticipated.  This part ended up being a complete nightmare to write for some reason.  About six or seven versions of it ended up in the wastepaper basket over the last couple of days.  Either the characters weren't right or the story was spinning wheels without actually going anywhere.  Sometimes that happens (and I suspect there will be a few more similar pauses where the story gets stuck before the whole tale is told).  Anyway, here's part 1-4 and I hope I won't be making you wait as long for part 1-5.

1-4: Sulpa

She turned her dark eyes on Ken.  They smouldered like sultry magnets.

"Why don't we go upstairs and fuck?"

That sounded like a good idea actually.  Ken started to get to his feet.

Wait...

She tempts unwary travellers and feeds off their life force.

No, not that.  That was Celestrico's silliness.

"Will I need to pay for this?" he asked.

Sulpa gave him a languid nod of her head.  "All who enter my house are welcome to partake of the pleasures of my body... for a price."

That was annoying.  Did he even have any money?  Yes.  He did, surprisingly enough.  He found a pouch bulging with coins hanging from his waist.  Had that always been there?

He detached the pouch and emptied some of the coins into his hand.  They looked like gold.

Or this was really his wallet and the funky post-hypnotic suggestion shit was fucking with his perception and making him see it as a fantasy-world equivalent.

"Five of those and all this..."  Sulpa stood up and swept her hands over the perfect contours of her body.  "...is yours for the night."

That sounded perfectly reasonable to Ken.

Assuming the money was his and he was not carrying it on behalf of someone else.  It would be more than a little awkward if he later found out it belonged to the local crime lord and he had to explain how he'd blown it on a hot hooker.

Sulpa saw his reluctant expression.  "You were likely on your way to spend your coin on me anyway," she said.  "There's no real other reason for travellers to be out here."

"Well in that case I owe it to past-Ken to carry out his wishes," Ken said with a charming smile.

He walked around the table and dropped five coins into Sulpa's outstretched palm.  She secreted them about her person, as scantily-dressed as it was, like a magician making coins vanish.

"That's my name, by the way," Ken said.  "Ken."

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Ken," Sulpa said.

Lithe and graceful, Sulpa led him to the curtain she'd entered through.  She glanced over her shoulder at him.  "My room is this way."

The passageway beyond was dark and the only illumination was tainted with fleshy shades of pink and red.  He followed Sulpa's shapely rump up two flights of stairs.  It was a lovely sight if a little spoilt by the shitty post-hypnotic suggestion that caused him to see a slender tail swinging back and forth with her hips.

Although it wasn't that bad.

Strangely alluring, in a way.

Current-Ken wondered if past-Ken had some strange tastes he'd neglected to tell him about.

He followed Sulpa around an intimate maze of narrow corridors.  This place seemed a little bigger than it looked from the outside, Ken thought.  He didn't pass any doors.  All the rooms were hidden behind thick sets of red drapes.  He tried to peep through the gaps and saw only darkness inside.

Sulpa stopped before one room and pulled the curtains aside.  They didn't swish aside like normal curtains.  The fabric was fixed in the centre of both floor and ceiling.  The entrance stretched open like the pupil of a cat's eye.

Or a particularly private part of the female anatomy, Ken thought.  An impression that was likely deliberately encouraged.

Sulpa turned to him.  Her lips were bunched up in a lush pout.  "Come inside," she said.

Nothing accidental about that innuendo either.

I'd love to, Ken thought.  Lots.

The room on the other side was mostly all bed.  A massive circular mattress lay against one corner.  It was piled high with fancy cushions and looked invitingly soft and luxurious.  Sulpa stood to the side, her body equally invitingly soft and luxurious.

"This is a little full on," Ken said.

"It's okay to have second thoughts," Sulpa said.  "This is a house of pleasure.  No-one is forced to do anything they don't want to."

"Oh I want to," Ken said.  "It's just this damn memory loss.  I don't know me.  I might be the sort that's uncomfortable with the idea of paying for it."

"You don't know how comfortable I can make you feel," Sulpa said.

Faint exotic scents tickled Ken's nostrils.

"I don't doubt it," he said.  "But I'm going to feel like a real piece of shit tomorrow if I wake up and remember I have a girlfriend or wife."

"Why?  You have a perfect excuse," Sulpa said.  "You were ensorcelled... confused.  Any lover, if she truly loves you, would understand."

She slowly peeled away the gossamer veils covering the shiny curves of her gorgeous breasts.

"You're a very bad girl," Ken smiled.  "Leading me astray like this."

Fuck it.  She was as hot as fuck.  He'd deal with the consequences—if there were any—later.

"Of course, what else would you expect from a succubus," Sulpa said.

I suspect the only one who thinks that's a twist is poor Kenny.  Let's see how he handles it next time (which hopefully won't be as long as the wait for this part).

Okasare Kenny 1-3: pause

Only a brief one.

I was out playing cricket all Sunday and at the SlamDunk festival all Monday ( \m/ ) and wasn't able to get far enough ahead to have some chapters ready to post in advance.  I'll be back to writing tomorrow and should have an update then.

Okasare Kenny 1-3: Sulpa

Typical me.  Leave it on a mini-cliffhanger and then neglect to update it the next day.  While I will try to keep a daily schedule, there will be the occasional blip.  Anyway, resuming our story...

1-3: Sulpa

Sulpa sighed.  She gestured to the far side of the table.

"Come, sit down.  There are some things you should know."

Well, this has deviated from the plan somewhat, Ken thought.  As Sulpa was not actively trying to fang him in the throat, he supposed he should hear her out.

Carefully.

He got back to his feet and took a place on the far side of the table.  He still kept hold of his sword.

"Celestrico is a trickster," Sulpa said.  "This is one of her games.  I'm sorry you've been dragged into it."

"So I'm not the brave hero chosen by destiny to rid the world of the demon queen?" Ken said.

To her credit Sulpa did try very hard not to laugh.

"Do you feel like a mighty warrior capable of taking on the forces of darkness single-handed?" Sulpa asked.

Ken looked at the sword in his hand, the one he wasn't really sure he knew how to wield correctly.

"I thought it sounded really silly," he said.  "But my head is so screwed up—I've lost my memory—I didn't have anything else to go on."

"That's Celestrico," Sulpa said.  "It's part of her game.  She finds a lone traveller, ensorcells them to cloud their memories and then convinces them they're on a vital and holy quest."

And probably screws around with their perception as well, Ken thought.  Just because he could see horns on Sulpa's head and bat wings sprouting from her back didn't mean they were there.  Maybe Celestrico had done that as well—hypnotized him into seeing a demon when all that was there was a harmless young woman.

It unnerved him.  He'd thought hypnotism was just a stage trick.  For someone to reach into his head like this and scramble his brain made him feel all skeevy.  Like returning home to find someone had been through all his private belongings.  No, worse than that.  This was his head, his thoughts—it didn't get any more personal.

"How do I reverse it?" has asked.

Seeing horns on every pretty girl he looked at wasn't going to be conducive to a healthy sex life.

"You'll be okay," Sulpa said.  "Your memory will come back in a day or so.  It did for the others."

That was a relief.  He still felt dirty.  Used.  He doubted that feeling would go away anytime soon.

"Why does she do it?" he asked.

Sulpa shrugged.  "Fun.  It amuses her.  She's always had a mischievous side."

Ken looked at his sword.  It was hard, metallic and pointy.  If he impaled someone with it they'd end up very dead.  Haha, let's all laugh at the innocent person twitching in agony on the end of a sword while they bleed out.

"Mischievous?  I'd go with sociopathic," he said.  "You're taking it way better than I would if I knew some lunatic was brain-washing hapless men and sending them on crazy quests to kill me."

"All of us around here are familiar with Celestrico's games," Sulpa said.  "They're not that dangerous.  She doesn't risk playing with powerful warriors.  Simple travellers and merchants are her usual playthings.  Men—and sometimes women—who aren't skilled in the combat arts."

"Yeah, but neither are dancers.  And you're unarmed," Ken pointed out.  He couldn't believe how blasé she was about the whole thing.  "What if I hadn't listened and attacked you?  You could be injured or even dead by now."

"I can look after myself."  The corner of Sulpa's lips turned up in a mysterious smile.  "If anything, it's you who should be more worried about death and injury.  There are others Celestrico could have sent you after, others that take a much dimmer view of would-be assassins."

Oh... shit, yeah.  Ken imagined what might have happened had his target been a local crime lord or dignitary—someone with bodyguards—and quickly pushed the image aside.  It was not pretty picture.

"You're lucky Celestrico chose me as your target," Sulpa said.  "The ones I've been forced to subdue enjoyed being subdued by me so much some of them returned as regular clients."

There was a dirty twinkle in her dark eyes and her smile was less than innocent.

Ken was still thinking of how much worse it could have been.  He wondered how much of his perception was fucked up.  How much of what he saw was real?  Was it a sword in his hand, or just a stick?  That might explain why she was so unconcerned by his appearance.  He thought he was in a brothel.  What if it was really someone's front living room?

"Ugh.  Sorry about this," Ken said.  "I'm feeling totally headfucked at the moment."

"That is Celestrico's intention," Sulpa said.

"What now?" Ken asked.

"You should rest here awhile and let your head clear.  Mmm..."

Sulpa placed a finger against her lips and stared thoughtfully into space.  The movement brought Ken's attention to her plump, sensual lips.  They glistened moistly in the low, intimate light.

"I do have a suggestion for how we can occupy that time."

She turned her dark eyes on Ken.  They smouldered like sultry magnets.

"Why don't we go upstairs and fuck?"

Uh oh.  Danger danger, Will Robinson Ken Parker-Stone.  We'll see how that pans out... tomorrow (possibly)

Okasare Kenny 1-2: Sulpa

A little later than planned, but still technically the next day.  I think.

1-2: Sulpa

Heart thudding in his chest, Ken pushed the door open and stepped inside.  On the other side was a short corridor with a thick red drape at the end.  He remembered he was still wielding his sword and that marching into someone's front room with a drawn sword probably sent out the wrong impression.  He found a sheath attached to the belt around his waist and sheathed his sword.  He kept his left hand close.  The moment he saw a misplaced wrinkle or the slightest point of a fang this bad boy was coming straight back out again.

On the other side of the curtain was a luxurious waiting area.  The air was warmer inside and thick with a heady blend of incense.  The source of the heat was a large fireplace tucked into the far wall.  Jos sticks were positioned around the room and sent out hazy tendrils of perfumed smoke.  The floor was carpeted in thick furs and piled high with plump cushions in pastel shades of pink, red and purple.  An ornate hookah stood on a low table near the door.

Evidently they weren't kidding around with that partaking of pleasures thing, Ken thought.  Add a few dusky maidens dressed in nothing more than billowy see-through robes and he'd be able to fool himself into thinking he'd just walked into one of those decadent harem palaces of yore.

Currently it was a very empty pleasure palace of yore.  No dusky maidens in simmering gowns.  No grossly overweight, bald merchants ogling them.  No lantern-jawed heroic types being all manly while ogling them.

There was only Ken Parker-Stone, possible demon-slayer extraordinaire.

Hmm.  What did he do now?  Put his feet up and wait for the demon to come along and attempt to seduce him into offering up his throat?  At the moment there was a noticeable absence of both sexy seductions and throat attacks.

Silvery bells tinkled deeper in the building.  After a short pause a curtain on the other side of the room swished aside and a dusky-skinned, dark-haired maiden who blew away all of Ken's fantasy images of dusky-skinned, dark-haired maidens entered the room.

"Greetings, weary traveller.  I am Sulpa," the gorgeous dusky-skinned, dark-haired maiden said.

Okay.  This was sexy seduction and some, Ken thought.  She didn't really have to do anything.  Sex appeal oozed from her pores.

It also helped she was practically naked.  Or at least, might as well have been.  The billowy blouse and veils she wore were so gossamer-thin and transparent they might as well have not been there.  Beneath them her skin was the colour of creamy coffee and looked so smooth Ken felt a primitive longing to slide his hand over her curves.

And what curves she had.  Her chest and hips bloomed out in contrast to her slender waist.  She definitely had one of those improbable figures horny videogame artists liked so much, only it couldn't really be classed as improbable fantasy when the real thing was standing before Ken in the flesh.  It was flesh with next to nothing left to the imagination either.  Her dark nipples, clearly erect, were visible beneath her gauzy blouse.  The only part of her body not visible to Ken was the intimate part between her legs.  That was covered in a tiny triangle of darker material lined with filigree gold chain.

Her face was just as gorgeous as the rest of her body.  Black hair fell on either side in luxuriant waves.  Her lips were lush and achingly kissable.  Her most devastating feature was her eyes.  They were picked out in thick black kohl and smouldered as they stared at him with an intensity that made him feel like he was the sole focus of either a forever-burning passion or all-consuming hunger.  Or both.  Sulpa was not a woman who felt the need to hide her desires.

She also did not feel the need to hide what she really was.  Ken had expected to only see her demonic features when she transformed to attack him.  Sulpa entered the room already transformed.  She wore her demonic features out in the open.  Ken saw horns, wings and a tail.  They all had the same gossamer insubstantiality as the veils that failed to hide her flesh.  Her horns looked like they were made out of glass threaded through with twinkling stars.  Her wings and tail were the same.  As with Celestrico, Sulpa's additional features complemented and added to her exotic appeal.

Calm it, Ken thought.  Remember why you're here.

For all he knew, maybe she transformed from demonic to even more demonic when she got close enough to strike.

"Rest your weary feet, traveller," Sulpa said in a voice as smooth as a sensual caress.  "I will dance for you."

Ken settled down on one of the soft cushions.  Sulpa moved to an open area and began to dance.  Ken didn't know much about dance and couldn't identify what kind of dance it was.  Her movements were slow and languid, and seemed designed to show off the supple perfection of her form.  Gauzy veils floated around her in a hypnotic swirl.  Her wings, also see-through and delicately beautiful, functioned as additional veils sweeping and swirling around her gyrating form.

Throughout it all her dark, smouldering eyes remained fixed on Ken.  They, and the smooth economy of movement of her dance, ignited fires in his blood.

Remember what she is.

(might be)

Okay, so this was a lot stronger than flashing a bit of tit or ass.  Her dance mesmerised Ken.

He didn't realise how much she had captivated his attention until he realised she'd approached close enough to him for a perfumed veil to swish under his nose.  She danced closer still—bending her pliant body towards him.

She's going to fang you in the neck! a voice screamed at the back of his mind.

Panicking, Ken propelled himself backwards.  He failed to jump back to his feet and instead collided with the back wall, dislodging a piece of artwork from the wall.  He landed awkwardly on his ass, but just about managed to get his sword out of his sheath and wave it in the direction of the demonic dancer.

Sulpa stopped dancing and looked at Ken with a stunned expression.  Then understanding dawned on her face.

"You're here because Celestrico sent you, aren't you," she said.

She moved away and took a seat at the low table.

"What story did she use this time?  Let me guess, she told you I was an evil succubus that sucked the souls out of unfortunate travellers."

Sulpa sighed.  She gestured to the far side of the table.

"Come, sit down.  There are some things you should know."

to be continued...  (probably tomorrow, but also probably later rather than earlier)

Okasare Kenny 1-1: Sulpa

This is my experiment in live(ish) writing a new novel/serial.  It starts here with Chapter 0.

1-1: Sulpa

"Right, our first target is Sulpa the Succubus," Celestrico said.

"Target? You make this sound like an assassination mission," Ken said.

"Well, d'uh.  What part of 'slay the demon queen and all her vile lieutenants' did you not understand?"

"I know, but when you put it like that it sounds so... I dunno... cold-blooded."

"Oh don’t worry, it will be plenty hot-blooded enough for you when you're fighting for your life."

Ken wasn't sure he liked the smile Celestrico gave him.  He liked the prospect of 'fighting for his life' even less.  Whatever he'd been before he'd lost his memories, he was fairly certain 'fighting for his life' had not been an everyday part of it.  Once again he wondered how the hell he'd been selected for this crazy quest.

"A succubus?" he said.  "Isn't that some kind of sex demon vampire thing?"

He dimly remembered them from various fantasy-themed videogames.  They were usually demon women with improbably voluptuous figures and a predilection for wearing very little.  Sort of like Celestrico, now that he thought about it.

"That's right," Celestrico said.  "Physically Sulpa isn’t very powerful.  She will try and avoid a direct confrontation if she can.  If she's forced to fight, she will fall back on her charm and seduce skills to confuse and ensnare her opponent.  She's a succubus, so she can appear extremely tempting.  A strong-willed hero should be able to resist her wiles, though."

Assuming he was a strong-willed hero, Ken thought.  It was battle enough to avoid staring into the creamy pink chasm of Celestrico's exposed cleavage every time they talked.

"Overall Sulpa isn't very strong.  That's why I picked her as your first boss fight.  You should have no problems overcoming her."

Even Celestrico was using videogame terminology.  This world couldn't be as it appeared, Ken thought.

They had left the hill behind and descended down into a lush, fertile valley.  The air was considerably warmer and more pleasant down here.  Sulpa's 'lair' was an elegant house located on the side of a path that had broadened out into a road.  The building was positioned as though it was a roadside inn.  The décor spoke of another, less salubrious, function for the house.  Red lanterns hung from the eaves.  Fancy pink silks billowed in the heart-shaped windows of the first floor.

Yeah, had to be a whorehouse for sure, Ken thought.

"She tempts unwary travellers and feeds off their life force," Celestrico said.

"I see," Ken said.  "So she's like one of those sexy vampires.  She gives some poor sucker a flash of her ass or titties and then when they get close enough... rawr! she sinks her fangs in."

Celestrico watched his mime of biting someone in the throat with amused bemusement.

"Yes, but it's not that mouth you should fear," she said.

"So what's the plan?" Ken asked.  "I charge in there..."  He wanted to say 'guns blazing' and that reinforced just how wrong this world was.  If he knew what a gun was, why wasn't he carrying one of them around instead of this trumped up kitchen knife?  "...sword swinging?"

"No.  She'll see you coming and flee," Celestrico said.  "You'll need to turn the tables on her.  Make her think you're one of her usual victims so you can get up close and... rawr!"  She mimed stabbing someone with a sword.

"Sounds like a plan," Ken said.

He left Celestrico and walked towards the entrance to the inn-cum-brothel-cum-evil-succubus-lair.  What he didn't tell her was that he also had another plan.

As he tightened the grip on the hilt of his sword and approached the door he felt discomfort rise within him.  He expected that.  He was walking up to a house, sword in hand, with the sole intent of murdering someone inside.  If that didn't weird him out he'd be worrying about his mental wellbeing to be honest.  Whatever he'd been before that damn arch had eaten his memories, it wasn't a ruthless killer.  Every instinct told him this was wrong, a bad thing to do.

Unless, of course, Sulpa turned out to be the monster Celestrico had said she was.  He had no qualms about shoving his sword through her guts if it was that or let her rip his jugular out.  That was different—him or her, kill or be killed.

This was where his other plan came in.  It was the same as the other with one crucial difference—he wouldn't attack anyone inside until he was absolutely certain they were a threat.  He still didn't know whether he could trust Celestrico.  He wasn't about to attack of opportunity Sulpa only to find out he'd just run through an innocent and perfectly harmless young woman.  Nope, he'd wait.  The moment she went all Klingon-face and tried to fang him in the neck... that's when he'd shove his sword through her guts.

There was a sign above the door.

Rest a While and Partake of our Pleasures, Weary Traveller.

Yep, knocking shop for sure.

The door was slightly ajar.  He put a hand on it and his confidence evaporated.  Was he really going to walk into the presence of something that might tear his throat out at any moment?  Armed with nothing more than an overgrown penknife?  He definitely had qualms about that.  Lots of qualms.  Shit fucking tons of qualms.

Heart thudding in his chest, Ken pushed the door open and stepped inside.

Hmm, I think Kenny might have got his mythical monsters mixed up here.  To be continued tomorrow...

Okasare Kenny 0-3: Celestrico

0-3: Celestrico

"I am Celestrico," the girl in blue said.  "I am to be your guide on this holy mission."

A down stroke of her wings floated her up off the rock on a gentle puff of air.  She gracefully landed on the path before Ken and gave him a little bow.

Ken blanched.  Definitely not human.  Not human in the slightest.

"My guide?  But aren't you... I mean... you look like a demon.  No offence."

Celestrico shrugged.

"It's the rules.  The questing adventurer must have a guide.  And you're going to need all the help you can get.  Standing in your way are thirteen of the most depraved and perverted beings in all creation."

Celestrico gestured to a thick expanse of cloud hanging above the path before them.  Hazy shapes formed in the mist like images projected onto a swirling screen.  He saw a parade of demonic figures flicker by.  It was a perverse assemblage of the grotesque and the arousing.  He saw gorgeous curves and the kind of kinky outfits normally reserved for hardcore German S&M porn.  Juxtaposed with that were body parts that were the wrong shape, in the wrong place, or in the wrong number.  Or even from the wrong species.  He glimpsed tentacles, a scorpion's tail, vines covered in thorns.  Some of what he saw was so alien as to defy all description.  The images flashed by too fast for Ken to get a good look, but slow enough to make a mark on his memory.  He might not be able to recall them now, but they would return to him in the deepest depths of either wet dream or nightmare.

The last was a looming shape as ominous as a thunderhead.  Ken saw nothing more than a black silhouette and yet it filled him with a sense of visceral dread.  And also—to his shame—a weird kind of perverse arousal.

"Wait, what!" he protested.  "I thought you said I had to slay the demon queen.  Who are all these others?"

And why were they all female?  And what the hell was this boner doing in his pants?

Celestrico sighed.  "You can't just walk up to the front gate of the demon queen and challenge her.  You won't stand a chance.  No, you must take out her lieutenants first.  That will level you up enough to be able to face her."

"Level me up?" Ken said.  "You make this sound like a computer game."

That was more evidence to Ken that this world was wrong.  He couldn't remember who he was, but he remembered a world of cities, technology and computers.  It was not a world where people used swords to solve problems.

"This is stupid," Ken said.  "Why send a single fighter instead of an army?  I'm going back to recruit more people."

Celestrico's eyes widened.

"You can't do that," she said.  "You're their chosen one.  If you turn down your calling they'll have you killed."

Fucking great.  How the fuck had he ended up in this position?  Surely he hadn't been dumb enough to volunteer.

"You shouldn't think so negatively," Celestrico said.  "I'm certain you were selected for a reason.  There are hidden powers within you.  And with me as your guide nothing will stand in our way."

"Why are you so keen?" Ken asked.  "Aren't you a demon too?"

Celestrico flashed him a vulpine smile.  "I'm a demon with ambition.  Each high-ranking demon you slay creates an opening for others to move up the ranks."

So much for the holiness of the cause, Ken thought.  At least she was honest.  Knowing she had a sensible motivation for all this, even if it was selfish, made him more confident she'd do her best to help him.

Help him.  Did that mean he was really going to go through with this insanity?

Did he have any other choice?

His memory was fucked.  He didn't have the slightest clue what was going on.  Until he got a better idea he might as well follow her for now.

The fact she had the nicest ass he'd ever seen might have contributed to his decision.

"Okay, lead the way," he said.

"Not yet," Celestrico said.  "There are protocols we have to follow first.  What is your name, brave hero?"

"Ken.  Ken Parker-Stone."

"Mighty Kenny.  Your righteous quest to slay the demon queen and rid the land of her evil begins here.  May your bravery carry you through to glorious victory."

Ken was amazed she was able to deliver that with a straight face.

Okasare Kenny 0-2: Celestrico

0-2: Celestrico

"I take it you are on a quest to slay the demon queen."

"I am?"

"Why else would you be carrying that?"

The girl with the blue hair nodded down at Ken's left hand.  He looked down and realised his hand was wrapped around the hilt of a sword.  The blade shone like polished silver.  The weight and balance was perfect for his hand, and yet it still felt out of place—a foreign object grafted onto the end of his arm.

Ken looked down at the rest of his body and saw he was wearing a light tunic cinched at the waist by a plain brown leather belt.  On his feet were a pair of open-toed sandals.

No wonder he felt cold.

"This doesn't feel right," Ken said.

His outfit seemed a little queer… archaic.  It was the kind of dress only worn by someone in an old-fashioned swords'n'sandals movie.  Was he in cosplay as well?

"Yep, it is rather stupid," the girl in blue said.  "Every so often the frightened citizens of the human lands nominate a brave adventurer and send them on a quest to rid the world of the malevolent demon queen."

"That sounds dumb," Ken said.  "Why send a single person?  Why not send an army?"

The girl in blue shrugged.  "Beats me.  It must be some silly prophecy or something like that."

Ken looked doubtfully at the sword in his left hand.  Did he even know how to wield it?

"I don't think I would have agreed to this," he said.

"No-one said they had to be a smart brave adventurer," she said.

She glanced away.

"Actually, that might be a disqualifying attribute," she said to herself.

Ken looked doubtfully at his sword and then at the girl with blue hair and horns.  She did look sort of demonish.  She had horns.  She had wings.  She even had a slender blue tail with a spade-like tip.

Her tail kept attracting his gaze and unsettling him.  It took a while to click why.  The tail was doing something no inert piece of cosplay should be able to do—it was moving of its own volition.

If her tail was real, then it meant those horns, wings and bright red eyes likely weren't costume either.  And if they weren't costume then it meant this situation was even more fucked up and weird than it first appeared, as there was a real, actual demon girl sitting in front of him.

And if she was a real, actual demon girl and he was on a quest to slay the demon queen...

"Um, are we supposed to fight or something?" Ken asked.

The demon girl rolled her eyes.

"Pulease.  Do I look like a fighter to you?"

She had a point there.  She did not look like a fighter.  Given the amount of flesh her costume was displaying, another profession did spring to mind.  Ken pushed that thought to one side out of politeness.  That didn't stop his imagination throwing together various explicit images.  He was a young, healthy man after all, and—demonic features aside—the girl with the blue hair was seriously fucking hot.

Okasare Kenny 0-1: Celestrico

And it begins, a new little writing project for here while I wait for my muse to come back on the other, more important, writing projects.

Okasare Kenny

0-1: Celestrico

...and emerged on the other side.

Ken Parker-Stone paused.  Whoa, what had just happened?

He was standing on the side of a hill, somewhere near the top.  High enough to scrape the undersides of thick, fluffy clouds.  Grey mist billowed around him.  The air was damp and slightly chill.  Weather-beaten rock formations loomed out of the fog on either side of a seldom-travelled path.

Okay, what the fuck was he doing here? Ken thought.

He looked behind him.  The path carried on beneath a worn stone archway that stood alone on the side of the hill.  Whatever structure the arch had once belonged to had long since fallen to rubble.  It stood alone.  Its stones had been scoured by the elements and were covered in lichen.  The whole arch listed to the side like a battered hero—mortally wounded yet defiantly refusing to fall.

The mist was thickest beneath the archway.  Ken couldn't see through to the other side.  The same thick fog shrouded his own memories.  He tried to recall how he'd got here or even what he'd been doing moments ago.  Nothing.  The fog between his ears was just as impenetrable as the fog beneath the arch.

At least you still remember your name, he thought—Kenneth Parker-Stone.  And who are you and what are you doing here, Ken Parker-Stone? he thought.

He turned away from the arch and saw he was not alone on the path.  A few metres further down an attractive woman in bright blue clothing sat on a flat rock next to the path.  She spotted Ken and gave him a friendly wave.

Ken waved back.  He walked down the path towards her.  Maybe she knew who he was.

Maybe she'd also been brought here mysteriously, same as him.  She certainly wasn't dressed appropriately for hiking up the side of a hill.  She looked like she'd just stepped out of a fancy city-centre party, possibly one with a fetish bent.  Her long, frizzy hair was dyed bright electric blue in colour.  As bright as her hair was, her outfit—what little there was of it, as it was skimpy and covered little of her flesh—was brighter still.  Shiny blue rubber was stretched taut across her chest and formed a V as it covered her crotch and little else.  She wore thigh-high boots and elbow-length gloves made out of the same glossy material.

She must be freezing, Ken thought.  Much of her cleavage was showing as was a circular patch of her flat stomach.  As good as it was at emphasising her gorgeous figure, it was not an outfit for hiking up hills on a damp, chilly day.  Not that she seemed bothered by the cold air at all.

Ken paused as he approached her.  There were horns growing out of her voluminous electric-blue hair.  They were long and swept back in an elegant curve like the horns of a goat.  What he first took to be a coat or cape resolved into folded up bat wings—dark blue in colour—behind her back.

Was he dreaming and her some fantastical manifestation of his sleeping imagination?

And a fucking smokin' hot manifestation at that.

No.  The mist might have leant his vision a dreamlike haze, but all his other senses told him this was real.

A word for her appearance entered his mind—cosplay.

What she was doing in cosplay on the side of this forsaken hill was anyone's guess.

What he was doing on the side of this forsaken hill was anyone's guess.

"Um, this is going to sound really weird," Ken said.  "Do you know me?  You see, I think I might have slipped and banged my head.  My memory is all messed up and I don't remember how I got here or what I'm doing up here."

"That'll be the arch," the girl in blue said.

Ken noticed her costume also extended to contact lenses that made her eyes the colour of glittering rubies, or freshly-spilled blood.

"There's enchantment on the stones to cloud the memories of all who pass beneath," she explained.

Enchantment?

"It makes you forget," she elaborated.

"Forget what?" Ken asked.

Why would he want to step under an archway that made him forget?  What was it he wanted to forget?

Why was he even taking her words at face value when they were obviously crazy?

"It's a purification ritual," the girl continued.  "It's to remove all impurities from the mind so there's nothing for her to latch on to and exploit."

"Huh?"

"It's the first step for all embarking on a quest to slay the demon queen."

Her words weren't getting any less crazy, Ken thought.

"I take it you are on a quest to slay the demon queen."

Introducing: Okasare Kenny

Coming soon on this very blog:

Okasare Kenny

Ken Parker-Stone is on a quest.  That’s what Celestrico, a sexy devil girl with blue hair and bat wings, tells him.  She’s his faithful guide on a holy mission to slay the demon queen.

Ken doesn’t trust her.  This world feels wrong.  It feels like a videogame.  Worse, it feels like a hardcore Japanese hentai videogame.  Ken needs to find a way out.  This won’t be easy.  Standing between Ken and the exit are thirteen of the most depraved and perverted monster girls in the universe.  And they want to do some very bad things with Kenny.  Naughty things.  Perverted things...

Slight change of plan.  I was going to jump back into the world of Jackson in HRPG-World, but this idea has been straining at the back of my head for a while.  Rather than fight it, I thought I’d let it leap, gibbering, into an unsuspecting world (and at the moment I’m up for trying anything to get back to a regular writing schedule).

This is my attempt to out-Violated Hero Violated Hero.  Or even out-Xelvy/Delphinus Xelvy/Delphinus.  Let’s see what the little black cells can come up with when given free reign.

As I’m going to try to pin myself to a daily schedule in the same way I wrote my Let’s Play series of Monmusu Quest: Paradox I reckon the pressure and strain will induce the required level of insanity after a couple of weeks.  Should be fun.

ETA: And the first part is now up

Let's Play Monmusu Quest: Paradox! part 50

Closing Thoughts (Yes, this is just an excuse to take it up to 50 posts)

This is the last post in my Monmusu Quest: Paradox: Chapter 1 playthrough.  Yep, I was crazy to do it, but people asked for it and it was fun if probably not the most efficient way to promote my own books.  The first part can be found back here and the series runs almost daily until we get to here, the end (until chapter 2 comes out).  At some point I'm considering migrating the blog over to a WordPress site, which will hopefully organise these posts in an easier way to navigate and ideally preserve all the original comments as well.  Thanks to the people that commented and more importantly provided corrections and clarifications.

I'll do a full review at some point.  This will serve as a point of reference for people that don't want to plough through 40,000 words or so of raw playthrough observations.  For here I'll finish up with some thoughts on the story.

The story is nicely poised.  Something went wrong in the past of one of the alternate worlds and now that's seeping out to devour other existences.  In the Paradox world multiple factions seem to be trying to get Luka (and Alice, although I don't know how depowered Ilias fits into it) to follow the same path as the MGQ series, even as far as going behind the scenes to change a world with friendlier relations between humans and monster girls to match the encounters the other Luka had in the first series.  It will be interesting to learn why this is happening in the forthcoming chapters.

I think once again the creators have achieved in their aim to produce something that isn't just a random sex game.  Just because the primary focus of the series is to shove in as many weird and wonderful explicit sex scenes with hawt monster girls doesn't mean the basics of storytelling such as plot and character should be ignored.  Paradox achieves this with a storyline that resembles the complicated plots of previous JRPGs such as the Final Fantasy series.

It's not been perfect.  Some of the re-visited locations seemed like they were only there because they were in the original.  A major plot point seems to be making Paradox!Luka follow in the footsteps of MGQ!Luka despite the differences between the worlds.  I'd have liked to have seen the story play around with those differences a little more.  Some of the re-visited sections felt like flat retreads of the original series only present because the creators wanted to include everything from the original game regardless of whether it fits or not.

The final boss for the chapter, Adramelech, also came out of nowhere.  Normally the presence of a powerful endboss is teased before they're actually fought.  I suppose this might be a function of this being chapter one rather than the whole game.

These are only minor niggles to be honest.  The rest of the game is suitably epic.  RPGmaker isn't the best at conveying atmospheric locations such as the haunted labs of Tartarus or a world crumbling under the onslaught of chaos.  That's what an imagination is for – after all, books don't come with Hollywood-style special effects either.  Overall Paradox is way more than most would expect from a mere 'sex' game.  Good work as usual, TTR and crew.

Now for some thoughts on doing this playthrough series.  I knew there would be a lot more content than the usual Violated Hero-type games I've done this for in the past.  For that reason I decided on a daily schedule otherwise it would take forever to get through the whole game.  Sticking to that schedule was fairly brutal and my other writing projects took a hit in the process.  I'll still be doing this for the future MQ: Paradox games, but probably not for every monster girl game.  It's too time-consuming and to be honest, the other games rarely turn out to be as creative or as interesting as this one.

What now.  One thing the daily posting schedule was good at was fostering discipline.  I think I'll see if I can stick to it for some of my original fiction series.  Knowing you have to put out 800 words or so a day is good for focusing the mind and keeping a story moving. (although please accept the quality – typos, etc – won't be as high as the ebooks I've put out.  I intend to be writing fast).  I know readers would love it if I did this for the Succubus Summoning series.  Maybe for a 301 arc.  201 is still being dug out of a pit.  Ironically, that one I did try to plan out in advance and probably made more mistakes than the more chaotically written 101 arc.

I think the first serial to get going again will be Jackson's adventures in HRPG-World.  They can be read here (1, 2, 3, 4) to get a flavour of what they're about.  So don't run away just because I'm done with TTR's Monmusu Quest: Paradox game.  Plenty of sexy monster girl action still to come.

The other thing I want to get restarted is the game design stuff I was fiddling around with at the start of the year.  That ended up going on the backburner with all the other chaos going on.

Also, if you've enjoyed what you've read over the last month or so, please support me by checking out my ebooks on Amazon, Smashwords or even directly from my publisher.  A stable income means I can continue doing series like this.  (and I guarantee you'll enjoy the books ;) )

Oh, and we can't sign off without at least some sexy stuff.

In Paradox Luka can challenge Death to a fight.

Yep it's a very bad idea (assuming you can even get past the full-grown Alice Death throws at you to prove you're even good enough to challenge her).

At least, like most of MGQ's denizens, she gives Luka a pleasurable send off to oblivion.

Oh well.  That looks like the last from Luka until Monmusu Quest: Paradox: Chapter 2 comes out.

Let's Play Monmusu Quest: Paradox! part 49

The End

The insanity is nearly at an end.  I knew it would be a tough ask (and fun!) to let's play Monmusu Quest: Paradox, and keeping to a roughly daily schedule has been fairly brutal.  But it was asked for and I was going to play the game anyway.  The start of the madness began back here.

We're right near the end.  We went through Tartarus and came out in a dying parallel world.  The only thing here is a tower and at the top is its mysterious master, someone who can hopefully fill in more of the puzzle of what's happening.

(Before I go on a slight correction from yesterday.  I said the tower section was a potential lost forever as the player can't get back to it through Tartarus.  This isn't correct.  As Yuuto Amakawa pointed out in the comments, after the events I'm about to describe below the ruins of the tower appear in the main Paradox world and can be re-explored as usual.)

The master is up on the top floor.  It's a straight run past some bookcases and they're the mysterious figure in black standing at a desk.

So, is this the final boss fight for Paradox: Chapter 1?  There are other monster girls in the room.  They look like statues of the resurrected monster queens from MGQ: Chapter 3.  They don't interact with the player.

Now, just who is the mysterious master of the tower?  (It probably goes without saying there are going to be a lot of spoilers from this point on)

La Croix?

D'oh.  Of course, the coffins scattered around the room and the presence of the zombie queens should have made it obvious.

La Croix is Chrome's sister and was Promestein's villainous right-hand in the original series.  She resurrected former monster queens and turned them into her personal fighting force.

That was her role in the previous series; it doesn't appear to be her role here.  Here she's the last thing holding out against complete and utter obliteration of this world by apoptosis.  She explains to us what happened here.

Again you'll have to excuse my shitty interpretation of very rough'n'ready machine translation.  I imagine this will be a lot clearer when Dargoth and team have completed their full English translation.  Chaos leaked into this world and started to consume everything.  The big surprise is it wasn't something in the past of this world that caused it.  La Croix and others studied it after retreating to this tower.  She gives us a notepad detailing all their findings.  She thinks something went horribly wrong not in this world but a parallel world.  History was not followed.  This created a paradox and the effects of that paradox caused chaos to leak into this world, ultimately destroying it.  Now that same leak is starting to affect Luka's world.

There's another shudder.  Apoptosis, or rather some powerful representative of it, is coming.  La Croix tells us to run back to our world while she tries to hold it off.  Luka tries to talk her into coming with us, but La Croix won't have it.  This world is already lost.  She wants Luka to take what they learnt back into his world in the hope of avoiding this world's fate.  She also tells us to take Radio with us as she's grown fond of her and doesn't want to see the little machine girl broken.

Gameplay-wise, there are no choices here.  La Croix won't let us go back down the way we came in as a powerful enemy is approaching.  The only thing we can do is exit through the pentagram at the back of the room.

After we leave, the agent of apoptosis appears.  I'm not sure what her name is – A-do-ra-na-re-ku?  Translator gives it as Ad Lam Rek.  Some play on Ragnarok?

We don't see the fight.  The action switches back to us as we escape a tower that now has chunks eaten out of it.

Uh oh.  La Croix didn't slow her down for long.  She appears to block us just as we're running for the exit.  I'm guessing this is the endgame (or rather endchapter) boss.  Her battle with La Croix knocked her down to only 10% power, so I guess that gives us a chance (and is a neat explanation for the power creep problem RPGs always have, where a powerful boss of one area would be beaten to a pulp by the lowliest wandering monster of a future area of the game).

Ad Lam Rek has some fairly cool battle music.

If you lose to her, she gets on top of Luka and slurps up his energy to repair all the damage she's sustained so far.  (through sex obviously – this is MGQ after all!)

After repairing herself she gobbles up Luka's soul/will with those mouths in ways I don't really understand.

This doesn't happen to us as I manage to beat her despite forgetting to remove bondage ropes off my backline and Ad Lam Rek one-shotting my main priest, Remi, repeatedly.  Yep, probably over-levelled (I'd already hit the level cap of 30 with Luka by this point).

Defeated, Ad Lam Rek fades away and we have to run for it from the collapsing world.

In true Hollywood-antagonist-style Ad Lam Rek is not done yet.  Her damaged and failing form grabs Luka as we're running across the bridge back to our world.  She's determined to drag him down into extinction with her.

Then a mystery person shows up and cleaves her in half with a sword.

So this is Marcellus, Luka's father.  Badassery apparently runs through the Luka family genes.  Maybe even more so for Marcellus, unlike Luka I don't think he has a half-angel side to draw power from.

The family reunion doesn't last long.  As Marcellus points out – Luka is trying to save one world while Marcellus is trying to save them all.  He leaves to do what he has to do elsewhere while Luka escapes back to his own world.

Yep, dramatic.

And that's it, credits rolls.  The end of Monmusu Quest: Paradox (although after the credits finish rolling control reverts back to the player, giving us the option of grinding up to challenge Nanabi, Sphinx, even Death).

Not bad.  Not bad at all.  I'll give my thoughts on the story and let's playing this tomorrow.  That will end the series (for now) on a nice round 50 posts.

Let's Play Monmusu Quest: Paradox! part 48

The Last Tower

And we're drawing near the end of the Monmusu Quest: Paradox playthrough.  The start of it all can be found here.

Yesterday we descended back into the nightmarish realms of Tartarus and followed another bridge to a parallel world.  The first parallel world was a jump into a future where Luka never went on his adventures and thus was not there to oppose Ilias when she set her angels loose on the world.  The second parallel world was a rather sedate jump into the past to where a settlement was not destroyed.  The third parallel world...

...is in a very bad way.  That's the world map by the way.

The sea has gone.  Some kind of darkness has eaten great chunks of this world.  Both Sylph and Gnome let us know that the wind and earth are dead.

They're dead Dave.  Everybody's dead Dave.

There's an ominous earthquake the moment we arrive.  It seems we've come to this world at the moment of its final collapse.  There isn't even much to explore.  There's a small island around the Tartarus pit and a mysterious tower to the east.  The encounters here are the same monster girls encountered in Tartarus III.

Time to check out that tower then.  I'm hoping they have something to renew HP/MP as I can't access the Pocket Castle here and there's nothing resembling an inn.

At the entrance we're greeted by Radio, a cute little machine girl that hops around on one leg.

She fills us in on this world and it doesn't make for good news.  The world is ending.  The last human died 25 years ago.  The last demon 6 years ago.  There's just this tower left.  Radio offers to lead us to her master waiting up on the top floor.  She tells us to be careful as there are plenty of monster girls roaming around to guard against apoptosis.

Thankfully we find one of those endless pots of healing down the right-hand corridor.  There's also a book that stands in for both the head priest at Ilias's temple and the maid in the Pocket Castle as it allows us to change party members and job/race.  It being here is a little ominous.

The first monster I run into here is...

...Paintgeist?

What are you doing outside of Chrome's mansion?

TTR seems to be using this location as somewhere to put all the monster girls from Monster Girl Quest: Chapter 3 that wouldn't otherwise have a home.  So we run into the paintgeist and shadow girl from the return to Chrome's mansion, and the second iron maiden girl and weird chimera from the return to Witch Hunt Village.

It makes sense, but is also a little disappointing that the final location in the first chapter seems mostly stocked with reruns.

There is one new monster girl – Junk Doll.

She's one of UN_DO's creations, which means she has more than one request scene.

Being made out of a bunch of sex dolls fused together means Luka has plenty of 'holes' to choose from.

Although having so many 'parts' to attend to will end up with Luka suffering from terminal manjuice depletion if he's not careful.

The higher affection scenes are both a little odd and short.  They're variations on the same art.  In the first the blonde doll torso wanks Luka off rather than letting his dick enter older doll sister's vagina.

In the 100-affection scene Luka gets to put his cock in soft artificial pussy, only for the scene to be over before it's even got going (maybe I'm still spoilt by the extended Xelvy scenes from yesterday).

I think the lower floor in the tower is to allow the player to grind (oo-er missus!) Honey Pots for job XP.

One word of caution.  This tower is a lost forever location.  I did try to go back afterwards after completing the section, only for the game to tell me it didn't exist anymore.  So if you want to grab everything from here, make sure you do it before triggering the last segment.  (It was fortunate I managed to recruit Junk Doll after the first or second encounter, as this section would be very light on the smexy otherwise).

Going up a floor and there are more tremors.  Looks like we really don't have much time before the last remaining fragments of this world disintegrate.

On this floor there are various rooms and entering each reveals a flashback to the tragic last moments of the tower.

It seems like this tower was where life tried to make a last, final stand.  There's a room where an alraune is trying to preserve the last remaining flowers.  They're preserved now, but in the artificial, lifeless forever sense.  Another room shows the last stand of the refugees as apoptosis overcomes the last guards and bursts in to exterminate everyone.

Interesting.  Is apoptosis an individual?

The next shows the lighter side of human-monster girl relations as they found a teddy bear for a young girl during their last hunt for supplies.  Unfortunately it goes horribly wrong as the humans start mutating into apoptotic horrors.  In another room and in the library the various scientists come to the conclusion that it's all hopeless and the only thing they can do is document everything.  They want to leave behind evidence they at least tried to fight.

There's no-one left now – just Radio and her mysterious master.  We continue up to the top floor to meet the last inhabitant of this dead existence.  Just who will it be?

That's an answer we'll find out tomorrow.

Let's Play Monmusu Quest: Paradox! part 47

Tartarus III (Get the Brain Bleach on Standby...)

So it's time to descend into the third and final Tartarus pit of Monmusu Quest: Paradox chapter one.  This is my playthrough, the first part of which can be read here.

We're descending back into Tartarus.  Are you scared?  You should be.

The Monster Girl Quest series is chock full of sexy monster girls.  The conventional idea of sexy monster girls is sexualised mythical creatures – succubi, cat girls (nya nya!), lamia, alraunes, etc.  Monster Girl Quest does have them.  It also has other... things.

After Monster Girl Quest: Chapter 3, artists Delphinus and Xelvy cemented their reputation as the go-to people for those other... things.  For the Tartarus sections I'm guessing TTR gave them free reign to come up with the weirdest designs they could think of.  Then TTR passed it out to us unsuspecting fools with a knowing wink.

The 3rd Tartarus pit is out to the east of Saloon, surrounded by some kind of poison swamp.  There's also an investigation taking place here, but on a smaller scale to the diggings on the Ilias continent.  It sounds like the people here are trying to avenge/find the Sabasa king, who went missing here some years ago.

Initially the path to the ladder is a blocked by a big pile of dirt.  One of the NPCs tells us a White Rabbit left it there.  The White Rabbit herself pops up to confirm this after we use Gnome's mastery of the earth to clear it away.  This was what the White Rabbit intended – she didn't want us to enter Tartarus until we'd contracted Gnome.  She runs off, but again briefly pops back up to give us Nero's glasses.  As usual, I miss the significance of this.

Okay, brain bleach on standby, it's time to descend the ladder and into Tartarus we go.  What horrors have Delphinus and Xelvy left for us this time?

Delphinus's effort is relatively restrained.  It's a slime girl.  Well, the slime part is for definite.  The girl part less so.  Her body is simply a manikin given animation by the slime inside her.

Her temptation move is to give Luka a very unusual handjob.  The Bad End has her get astride us in something that looks like sex.  In reality it's feeding for her as she takes great relish in telling us how she's absorbing all our doomed little sperm.  It's also a fatal feeding as her slime overstimulates Luka to the point he runs out of energy and dies.

Unusually for the new monster girls, she also has an additional request move back in the castle – a slimy blowjob.

Then it's time for Xelvy's contributions.  First up a machine girl with a massive arm.

Mecha stuff doesn't float my boat, so to speak but this doesn't seem so...

Uh?  What's happening here?

It looks like she sort of disassembles around Luka.  Then there are whirring sounds.  Now look, fast moving metal parts and soft fleshy sexual organs should not come into contact with each other.  Just thinking about it causes so much retraction in my soft fleshy bits I'll probably need forceps to dig them out afterwards.

At one point in the Bad End she overstimulates Luka to the point he has a heart attack.  No biggee, she simply shocks him back to life.  You don't get out of it that easily, son.

What's next?

I mean I've heard of the expression, "You're all mouth," but this is a little ridiculous.  Obviously she has a good chew on Luka.

(Her one request scene after recruitment is also 100% fatal as well.  No amount of sausage will sway her.)

Okay, so that must be the worst of it out of the way.

Haha, don't be silly.

Nope, not a clue what she is.  She doesn't have any dialogue either.  All she does is laugh and giggle.

As for her Bad End...

Obviously that weird proboscis appendage was going to suck up Luka's dick.

Recognising she might be too much even by MGQ standards, she pokes a finger into Luka's ear and directly stimulates his brain into thinking he's fucking a more conventional hottie.

Alas, if only the audience could do the same.

Jeebers!  Those eyes!  What the fuck is up with those eyes?

Hmm, as a writer of erotic horror it appears as though I need to up my game.  Time to get the little black cells working...

Back to the story.  In this Tartarus bad things are happening.  Luka and party encounter what look like holes in the fabric of reality.  There are also sections of Tartarus where it looks as through space is coming apart.  It's also quite a short section in comparison to other areas of the game.

We find the door which leads to another bridge between worlds.

And on the other side of that... well, that will have to wait until tomorrow.
