"A Succubus for Remembrance" is out!

It's another publication day!

My 5th collection of erotic horror short stories, A Succubus for Remembrance and other tales of Femme Fatales, is back up as an ebook.

You can pick it up from these ebook retailers.

And the usual blurb:

Think paranormal erotica is only about sparkly vampires and fluffy werewolves?  Think again!  You’re about to enter the bizarre and twisted universe of M. E. Hydra.  His sexy succubi and other assorted femme fatales will give you a wild ride, but be careful they don’t eat you whole in the process.

This, his fifth collection, contains thirteen tales of darkest erotica.  A terrifying succubus wreaks vengeance on a group of former soldiers in “A Succubus for Remembrance”.  A man is sent by his therapist to an unusual nudist camp in “Iron Girders and Steel Springs”.  Two lovers look to a magical artefact to solve their problems in “The Skinning Knife”.  A sinister mobster engages sexy diabolic help to demonstrate “Ways to Break a Good Man, #1” (and no.2 and 3).  Bizarre and imaginative sex demons abound in a triptych of tales set in the hell-space universe.  Also includes an extra bonus tale, “Nazi vs Succubus,” for lovers of extreme, no-holds-barred fiction.

You will be surprised, shocked and aroused by these and other tales of fiendish femme fatales.  They'll give you pleasures beyond your wildest dreams, and terrors beyond your darkest nightmares...

This is the 5th of 6 collections I'm currently republishing after my previous publisher closed down last year.  To mark the occasion I've redone the covers and added an afterword with additional commentary on the stories.  If you already have the original, you probably don't need this, but I'm not going to say no to the extra royalties if someone wants to pick them up to support my writing.

Some of these stories are up on places like Literotica.  The versions in the ebook can be considered final(ish) edits.  As always there are some stories that don't show up anywhere else.  "A Succubus for Remembrance" is a slightly different take on the usual succubus tablet story.  "The Skinning Knife" originally showed up in one of Excessica's anthology and is a different type of horror story to my usual work.  "Hugh the Hero" closes out a triptych of hell-space stories.  "Slugjob" is... I have no idea what I was thinking there.  There are also two more "Ways to Break a Good Man" stories, although they're not connected apart from the title similarities.  Lastly, there's "Nazi vs Succubus".

I don't normally do the warning thing, but "Nazi vs Succubus" is pretty 'no-holds-barred' even for me.  If you read my stories mainly for the erotica content rather than the horror, I'd skip that one.

It's out now.  If you haven't already, I hope you enjoy 13 more tales of sexy succubi and monster girls.

  1. Hey yo! Love the new cover, bro! Is Koontz related to Stine from SS 101. Get it? Both are evil and disgusting men that are adept at making "contracts" with succubi. I have a feeling they could be best buds, enemies trying to back stab each other, or Koontz is Mr Stine's fat and strange uncle.

    1. Not related. I'm also not entirely sure how they'd interact. It could be interesting as I'm guessing their aims wouldn't align and I think their succubi are from different parts of the Dominion of Lust. Would they war, or turn on their "masters"? Something I might play with in later stories (but not necessarily Stine vs Koontz)

  3. From Anon:

"Hydra is right about Nazi vs Succubus folks, that shit was so twisted and fucked up that the horror surpassed the erotica, so no fun fap times for that one.

Anyway, I have an interesting question for you Hydra. Why can't you have a succubus get killed in a story? Can't you just simply write a one shot about the succubus "sexually killing" an innocent man, but then near the end, she gets killed by a demon hunter?

That way, you still have the succubus fucking and sucking someone to death and than she gets killed. There will still be sex, but I think it isn't that.

Is it true that you don't have any succubi die because it will ruin your femdom fantasy? I can imagine It could be hard hurting the hot demon girl that just wants you fuck you, even if she is evil and deserves to die.

Do succubi know this idea that "man will hurt an ugly monster without hesistation, but will pause at a pretty female monster" and exploit the hell out of it?

Can you Hydra, bring yourself to ever hurt Verde, or no you simply wouldn't hurt her beautiful face?"

    1. There are a few deaths planned. The storylines just haven't got to those parts yet. That's mainly my fault for having that period where I lost focus and started a bunch of different things without finishing them.

As for killing them, it's tricky to do. More so if the character is more established. I'm guessing most of the readers are here to read about the beautiful succubus having sex, not having their brains blown out. I don't want to rule it out either. It gets boring if any character seems invulnerable. Neither do I want to do it for pure shock value (although I do have problems keeping my horror tendencies under control!). I guess it's about picking the right time, so I have a nice story where the readers go "I didn't see that coming" and it's also still an enjoyable read.

The succubi definitely exploit those moments of hesitation. It's a plot point in the "Vernon the Volunteer" story where some in command take some fairly extreme measures to try and shock that tendency out of their soldiers.

"Hello there- I bought all your books years ago but stopped following after the stories tapered off. I would like to know if the stories are the same as in the past. Thank you."

    1. Was a bit late catching up, but I answered the same comment you posted on a previous post.

It's the same stories. Hopefully I'll have a new collection out by the end of the year.

  5. Hey, any idea when this will be out on google books?

    1. My account is under review there currently. The same thing triggered with the last book. Takes about 7 days to get someone to look at and accept the relevant documentation to prove there aren't any rights problems taking place. They're just a bit slower than the others at getting the books out sadly.

  6. Just got into the SS 101 and its great, but I'm confused. Do the succubi need to drain humans or they'll die? Or do they just do it because they have a job/duty to fulfill? Will succubi like Verde or Nicole die if they go too long without sucking and fucking any humans?

And if they don't die from starvation, what's the point in eating a human soul? To increase their power level?

    1. It's something I've left open until it needs to be answered. Human souls are tasty and do increase power. Not so sure on the starvation aspect yet. I come from a biology background, so I think it would make sense that they would have to eat, although maybe not too frequently. I might try to write a story where the succubus is in a starved state and see how that plays out.

  7. That's actually pretty neat. If the succubi need to eat humans to get stronger and more wise, than they would be just like those alien monsters from that MCU Eternals movie.

Look at the harlots Bebi and Panta Prota. They are considered "baby succubi" so what do they need to do to get stronger and more mature? Is it a combination of living many years and snacking on human souls?

    1. Eat more souls probably (or just lots of semen - I'm still undecided on whether to make all succubi soul stealers. Some just drain all the fluids).

  8. Hello there, I've got a question regarding the Vs series of stories. I've realised that while a few of them explicitly had the same succubus (Esqeta), some of the others were either not named or named differently though their descriptions felt similar. And those that are named differently seems to all have similar sounding names. Are they all Esqeta using different identities to fit in?

    1. The Vs stories are a bit more chaotic. It's a loose series that's supposed to only really have the titles in common. That said, I think I might have initially had plans for them to have a shared succubus antagonist. Having them all be an Esqeta, albeit sometimes alt-universe ones, would be a nice thread to tie them all together. I'll have to reread them to see if that can be done in a way that makes sense.
