"A Succubus for Saint Patrick's Day" is out!

It's (re)publication day!

Here's the usual blurb:

Who is the lucky one – the man given sensual pleasure beyond his dreams, or the succubus that ensnares and drains him?

Dangerous and delectable sirens abound in M. E. Hydra’s sixth collection of horror erotica.  Within these pages you’ll find thirteen tales that will tempt, tease, titillate and terrify.  Read and enjoy as dark temptresses weave their seductive webs and draw in their (un)fortunate prey.

In “A Succubus for Saint Patrick’s Day” a down-on-his-luck gambler thinks his fortune has changed when a magical succubus comes to his aid.  A strange agency provides an unusual service in “The High-School Sweetheart Removal Agency”.  A researcher has a dangerous and highly sensual encounter with an alien creature in “A Real-Life Goo Girl”.  In “Number 66” an expat searches for an unusual girl in the fleshpots of Bangkok.  An accomplished thief falls prey to a shadowy guardian in “Rogue vs Lamia”.  A rich man gets the bigger dick he’s always wanted in “Crabs”, only to discover the treatment has some alarming side effects.  And finally, a young man gets a surprise when he tries to rape the wrong victim in “Joe Boyega Picks a Bad Night to Become a Rapist”.

They'll give you pleasures beyond your wildest dreams, and terrors beyond your darkest nightmares...

This is the last of the ebooks that needed republishing after my previous publisher closed at the end of last year.  As with the others, I've given it a new cover and added an afterword that gives a behind-scenes look at how the stories were written.

Some of the stories (in slightly rougher form) can already be found online on places like Literotica.  To make the collections worth buying, I always add some stories that can't be found anywhere else.  This includes the eponymous story "A Succubus for Saint Patrick's Day", where the nameless succubus from the succubus tablet is sowing chaos again. "A Special Tube of Lube" is a new story with Eryx and Eunectes and calls back to their first appearance as they return to collect a debt. I try again to write pulp fantasy with "Rogue vs Lamia".  "Crabs" has appeared in another anthology, but you can enjoy it in all its nastiness here.  There's also the obligatory Nicole story (with a title that got me in trouble at Kobo), plus a couple of other original stories (one of which with a title that is clearly too long, but also throws some hints as to what the witch Annette Brite is up to with her succubi).

This is the 6th and last of my old collections.  All of my books are now back on sale.  The next time I make one of these posts it will be for a brand new collection.  The 7th collection is currently in progress and hopefully I'll be able to unveil that soon.

In the meantime, A Succubus for Saint Patrick's Day is (back) out today and I hope you enjoy reading it!

  1. Thank you, bought the book immediately and enjoyed all these stories. Do you plan to develop Nicole's and Inari Kitson's lines further in the next books? These characters have a great potential for plot development. Also do you have any plans to introduce angels in any future story? If demons exist, so should angels, right?))

    1. Yep, I'm trying to set things up so that I can split time between regular HoHH releases and get some new short stories written for a 7th collection. I have long-term plans for Nicole and Inari. Some storylines planned out, others still to be worked out.

No concrete plans for angels, but I have a good idea of what they are in the setting. There are probably two types - lust daemons that look like angels but are basically still succubi (similar to the sexy angels that show up in monster girl H-games). The other type are more conventional angels from [redacted]. Not 'good' but probably not evil in the usual subversion. Probably similar to the daemons in that they have their own personalities and agendas, and whether that's good/safe for the humans that encounter them will depend on the angel.
