This is another temporary exclusive. I'm slowly working through the old H-space bestiary stories. At some point I'll have enough to start gathering them into ebook collections for Amazon and other places.
This was originally the Venus Mantrap story. I fleshed out the background to explain how the soldiers got there and also to try and build up the classic "Green Hell" jungle atmosphere.
As with the original, the ending is pretty icky, so watch out for that one. I do like to push the horror a little bit more with the H-space stories.
In case people are wondering, I don't have a good track record with H-space stories getting accepted on Literotica. They're usually a little nastier than my regular horror stories and the scarlet imps tend to get a story bounced whenever they show up. As a result I don't bother posting them there (but do still plan to post other stories). It's also nice to have some exclusive content I can hold back for patrons/subscribers. a writer has to eat, so all support gratefully accepted!
Hey Hydra, how come you don't really use succubi spirits? You know, like in Evil Dead? Have a succubus spirit take over a human's body and for her to become a flesh and blood daemon, she need the semen and soul of a man and after she gets what she needs, she devours both the man and woman she's possessing and gets her own body.
ReplyDeleteI prefer it when the succubus has a more tangible body. Possession feels a little too abstract. I like the idea of it being a way for a succubus to 'get' a body. Maybe a type of daemon that specialises in this as a way to get to (an) Earth would fit in with the overall setting.

DeleteHey Hydra, if you were to teleport every harlot in the House you created and placed them all on an Aircraft Carrier ship in the middle of the ocean full of men, would the succubi and other lust daemons would go buck wild and try to consume as many human men a possible?
ReplyDeleteThe weaker ones might let baser instincts get the better of them. The more powerful ones would act to take control of the situation. If it was all of the current harlots, I wouldn't fancy the crew's chances. Some of those are powerful daemons.
DeleteStory was good, but i agree with Anon that a large group of sex daemons attacking a large gathering of humans sounds awesome. I especially want it to be a diverse set of monsters, like a succubus here, a lust slime girl there, a group of succufairies ganging up on a lad and so on.
ReplyDeleteThe "Milk maid" story is my favorite.
There is a major plot point within the H-space storyline where this happens. One of the bases gets attacked by multiple 'Great Fog Puffers', and then other succubi come in and take advantage of the men crippled by the aphrodisiac fog. It's been hinted at in a few H-space stories.
DeleteThat isn't really a conflict - more a surprise attack "massacre". Maybe I'll have one of the other base conflicts be a little less one-sided.
I would probably go with army base or college campus. There are a total of 70 or so harlots thus far in the House. The amount of people that are on the aircraft carrier can have a crew of 5,000. So nah, I don't see all the harlots beating that many humans, especially since the humans are soldiers and have weaponry. Or maybe they could....

The lesser harlots and succubi wouldn't last very long. The more powerful ones are very powerful. The usual way to balance powerful demons in horror is to give them esoteric weaknesses (to magic/faith/rituals etc). If the crew didn't have access to that knowledge, they'd have little chance of stopping the more powerful ones. Especially as some have have powerful charm abilities that would get the weaker minded crewmembers suddenly start fighting their fellows.
DeleteDepends on the circumstances of the teleportation and who was caught off-guard. If the harlots all got surprise-teleported into a field full of 5,000 heavily armed soldiers, it'd be messy. They're lust daemons rather than wrath daemons - they're not suited to an open battlefield (but very dangerous and powerful if allowed to influence from behind-scenes).
They could take on the humans. Remember y'all, just because a harlot is Tier 1 doesn't mean she is weaker than a human. A Tier 1 harlot can pretty much be a powerful succubus or sex daemon that chooses to hold back her power. A good example of this is Succuba.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can make a lust daemon out of the other kind of meat eating plant. You've done pitcher plant girls and venus fly trap girls, but what do you think about the Sun Dew plant? It's basically a plant that has sticky dew-like goop running up and down the branches and leafs. When a bug gets stuck in the dew, the "tentacles" sprouting from the plant will start to move towards the trapped bug and will digest it as the dew can also serve as the "outside stomach" for it.

DeleteThat one's a bit harder. Conceptually, she would work similarly to the Sleeping Beauty Mimic in that story. Matching the concept to the appearance of a Sun Dew plant girl is trickier.
What do the succubi think about lust daemon vampire girls? Will a group of succubi "adopt" a vampire girl into the group and go on hunting sprees with each other? Like the succubus could be riding a man's dick and on the side of the man is the vampire girl biting his arms and sucking his blood.

One of the ideas I wanted to work in to HoHH and had to push back was a faction of a vampire girls and a faction of 'leech' girls that would have a rivalry with each other. The leeches disdain the vamps because they suck blood rather than semen, the vamps disdain the leeches for their lack of charm and seduction. Regular succubi look down on both as 'primitive' lust daemons.
DeleteIndividual vamps and leeches can still be quite powerful. Enough to outclass lower-tier succubi.
If I was writing a group of succs with a vamp of similar power level, the succs would probably tease (or outright bully) the vamp.
The double suck scenario would likely also come up for some (un)lucky bastard. :D
Yup, as I said above. On an open battlefield, the powerful succubi would probably just flee. It's not suited for lust daemons. They're corruptors from "behind the throne".
ReplyDeleteThat does give them more horror potential. Corrupting a loving father and husband into murdering the rest of his family is a much nastier story than a succubus going demon-face and ripping a heart out of a chest.
I feel I've failed if I write a succubus like that. Nyte is a weird exception, but the trade-off is she's not as strong at the political machinations other succubi excel at. It's only really hinted at with Phil figuring out she can't lie at all.
The fangs aren't really necessary for succubi. I think it's just fangs == more feral == more scary, so demons were given them. Seductive vamps and succubi tend to occupy similar space as a seductive femme fatale luring humans to their doom, so end up sharing features. The monster needs to look human enough to be alluring, but also have a 'tell' that it's a monster, and fangs are relatively subtle one.
ReplyDeleteOne of the more interesting psychological theories as to why vampires are so popular is that the fangs in the throat is a penetrative fantasy. More crudely put, a proxy for sticking the dick in something. Which tends to excite women wanting to be penetrated, and men wanting to penetrate. And also why Anne Rice's vamps naturally slide into catering to homoerotic fantasies.
I'm not enough of a psychologist to know if there's any truth to that, but it seems an interesting theory (and why the Dracula types just love fanging lovely young virgins in the neck - it's metaphorical for ravishing them in ways older sex-starved writers (poor Bram) couldn't really write explicitly back then.
The inverse to that, and what I play around with a lot, is the engulfing fantasy. Again, I'm not a psychologist, but I wouldn't be surprised if vore and monster girls tend to line up well together is because it's an engulfing fantasy and converse to the penetrative fantasy of vamps.
I give succubi fangs because it's kind of the expected appearance. If there's any truth to the penetrative/engulfing fantasy displacement of sexual excitement, a succubus's mouth should probably be more of a disguised sucker - more emphasis on the suck, than the fang.
It's all batshit theory-crafting though. I'm well outside of my regular knowledge zone.
