Paperback version of A Succubus for Halloween is now available

For the last few months I've been commissioning new cover art for the short story collections and rereleasing print versions for them.

We're now up to the 3rd collection, A Succubus for Halloween, and marwmellow came up with some lovely cover art for this one.

(The cuteness is a lie).

This one was originally published (ebook and paperbook) through eXcessica in 2011. I put it out on my own author account after eXcessica ended in 2022 with a rough AI-art cover (ebook only). Now it has nice new human-drawn art for the cover and a paperback version.

The downside is it's a Print-on-Demand paperback and those are more expensive. The lowest I could put the price and still receive something from each sale is $15.99. It does look very nice, however, and is there for people that would prefer a physical copy of my books.

There are quite a few stories that can only be found in this collection, including Epicratea's first appearance in "Oil-Wrestling a Succubus".

I've also updated the ebook version to have the new cover art on other retailers and those changes should be live or going live very soon. (With the exception of smashwords - I still need to merge my smashwords and Draft2Digital accounts.)

Harlot Art Preview - Epicratea

I had a few problems getting the latest House of Hellish Harlots (art version) release out, but those are resolved, so it's back to the harlot art previews.

This week is another succubus who previously showed up in one of my short stories.  Epicratea, the Ebony Succubus, first appeared in my "Oil Wrestling a Succubus" short story.  That story can be found in the A Succubus for Halloween collection.  I've just received new cover art for that collection and will be putting out a new print version in a couple of weeks, but more on that in a future post.

As indicated by the title, Epicratea loves a good oil wrestle.  She likes sexily overpowering men and then finally claiming them in her succubus form.  She finished high enough on a poll of characters patrons would like to see added to HoHH, so I ported her scene over from the story.  So now players of HoHH can now have some slippery fun with her.

I think he did a great job of capturing her with this one.  It might be sexy oil wrestling fun, but Epicratea does not fuck around.

After a lot of bug squashing I did finally get HoHH1.5 v0.017 out.  This should be the first in what should hopefully be a series of regular releases as I update the remaining low-tier harlots with full notebook and replay functionality.  These releases also include new full H-scene art for some harlots by marwmellow, commissioned by both me and patrons.  So if you have a favourite you'd like to see drawn in a certain way, get in touch.

Harlot Art Preview - Huntress Levka

This week's harlot preview is Huntress Levka and her trusty "hounds", Minyette and Zhopa.  As a member of the Huthswiven Manor she enjoys hunting men and letting her hounds get up to perverted fun with those they catch.

This week was a good one in terms of game development.  I put out a new release for the art version of HoHH (v0.016).  This adds notebook, monsterpedia, and autosave functionality to half of the currently implemented harlots.  The demo version can be found in the experimental section of the houseofhellishharlots website here.  For the passwords and regular updates on how game development is going, check out my Patreon or SubscribeStar.

Harlot Art Preview - Atómica

This week's harlot art preview is a harlot I have a spin-off story idea form, but haven't got around to writing it yet.  Atómica, La Bomba de Amor is a luchador themed succubus.  His speciality is the "love bomb" finishing move where she flies the man up high and then drives them down into a giant inflatable airbag.  The resulting orgasm for the man is explosive, but sadly terminal.  At least he gets to go out with a bang...

Art is by Marwmellow.  I made a slight boob with the descriptions in failing to emphasize the importance of her having wings - something I might ask to be added when I come to commission her H-scene (or someone adopts her).

The Adopt-a-Harlot scheme has been going pretty well.  I'm nearly through the notebook/monsterpedia slog to the point I should be able to start putting out regular release again soon.  These will start to include "spicier" artwork of the harlots in action.

Harlot Art Preview - Eve Satana

This week's harlot art preview is another character that originally showed up first in one of my short stories. Eve Satana first showed up in "The Biggest Tits in the World".  The Literotica version of that story is a little rough.  I cleaned it up and made it clearer some eldritch reality-warping shenanigans were taking place for the version put in the A Succubus for Freedom collection.

After finishing high in a poll of characters people wanted to see added, Eve Satana was put into the House with a scenario that also slightly expands her background lore.

And now I have some nice art of her courtesy of marwmellow that really shows off Eve's particular "assets".

Eve has also been "adopted", which means spicier work of her H-scene is currently on the way.

I'm still slowly working through the notebook/monsterpedia implementations.  I'm hoping to have a new HoHH.1.5 release out fairly soon where players will be able to see exactly what I've been up to with that as about half of the low-tier harlots will have it.  Check my PPatreon or SubscribeStar for the regular update reports.

Harlot Art Preview - Boobella

The harlot art preview for this week is Boobella.  She's another import from my short stories, first appearing in "A Chance Glance and a Chance Conversation in a Student Bar" (which also shows up in my most recent collection of short stories, A Succubus for Social Justice).

Originally I wrote her as total bitch - the succubus equivalent of the mean-girl cheerleader trope.  Evidently I failed at that as she topped a poll of characters people most wanted to see added to HoHH, and then topping polls of favourite harlots.  This despite her being very open about her desire to drain the player of everything they have and kill them.

I guess people really like bad girls... :D
