House of Hellish Harlots ver 0.022 (3 new harlots - Soffocaria Gattagrandi, Chén, and Osculia Suffocati)

The new version of "House of Hellish Harlots" is available for patrons and can be found here:

https://www.patreon.com/posts/house-of-hellish-54450922

Here are the details:

QoL

Fast Barman Intro
There is now a speedier option to get through the Barman's introductory dialogue.  That should make repeat playthroughs less annoying.

NEW HARLOTS

Soffocaria Gattagrandi
The 'pussy smotherer'.  She likes cunnilingus, but only from men that know what they're doing.

Chén
Not a smotherbus.  This is the glass mannequin doll I couldn't quite finish last month.  She likes dancing and is very elegant... until she opens her mouth.

Osculia Suffocati
The 'kiss smotherer'.  There is a little bit of mind control and hypnosis here, but her full effects won't be seen until I add more lip specialists and give her a repeat visit.  She's still quite dangerous.

There is a public demo version at https://houseofhellishharlots.com/, but this is still a couple of releases behind.  This is intentional as I want paying patrons to have perks.  However, there are some much needed QoL changes that need to be added to reduce the boring repetition at the beginning of each new game (which I suspect is contributing to the demo not picking up much interest at the moment).  One QoL change is already in v0.022.  I'm hoping to add a proper fast restart option for v0.023, and will likely update the public release at the same time.

  1. I love the new harlots MEH. I do hope to god there ain't any incubi in the House though. The Elegant Lady did say some succubi specialize in draining women.

If that's the case, then that means you have incubi running around that preys on men, especially straight men in the Dominion of Lust.

Can you please confirm to me that there won't be any femboy incubi that preys on men at the House?

    1. That one has a simple answer and a complex answer.

The simple answer is "no". I'm only going to write what turns me on. I don't even like futa, so there's no way I'd be writing incubus-on-male no matter how femboy-ey they were.

The complex answer concerns lore and if there was a much bigger writing team with a wider range of turn-ons.

In the lore, the daemons all come from the Dominion of Lust. That has both incubi and succubi. As I said about the H-space stories, the incubi are there, I just don't write those scenes in any detail. They happen off screen or are treated more for horror.

The lore question is, given they exist, would they be in the House? I still haven't figured that out myself.

One option is that it is a separate location - an Institute of Infernal Incubi. Both succubi and incubi aren't particularly choosy, so the sex and preference of whoever had the (mis)fortune to cross the threshold wouldn't matter.

Another option is that the House has both, but also has a lot of illusion magic, so visitors would either be funnelled into the incubus/succubus section or illusions would stop them from seeing incubi/succubi depending on sexual preferences.

That wouldn't explain Sammy, and also it feels like a consideration lust daemons wouldn't even have.

However, more important than lore is game and audience. Content-wise, I'm looking to create something similar to Monmusu Quest - so it's weird monster girls over furries and gender-bending. The best way to resolve the incubus conundrum is for the game to pretend they aren't there even though in the lore there would likely be some preying on women, gay men, and even some unfortunate straight men. I might make a note that some are about, but they wouldn't show up as harlot choices (handwaved as the Madam being "nice" to the player).

I've designed HoHH to be modular. That's where the factions come in. For any one run, there would likely only be 5 factions in play, but there's no real limit to the overall number of factions. The plan is for each faction to focus on particular fetishes. That way, once there are more than 5, players can veto factions where the fetish is a turn-off. That should allow theoretically anything (that isn't illegal) and get around the problem of players being exposed to things they find repulsive.

Then, in the future, if HoHH really takes off and starts to grow a community in a similar way to fenoxo's CoC, I might put out a faction creation kit for people to create their own scenarios and factions. That way if people want things like incubi or furries, which I'm probably not going to write, someone else can write those scenes and bundle them together into their own faction. Because HoHH is modular, people that want to see eg femboy catboys can add them to the game, while people that hate them can just veto that module and never be exposed to it in their games.

It goes without saying that there's a long way to go before getting to that point!

  2. I'm pretty sure MEH wants the incubi to take a "back seat" to things. He's all about soul eating sexy succubi and monster girls.

After all, there are already too many erotic novels/stories of women getting banged by handsome male vampires, angels, fallen angels, werewolves, and demons yadda yadda.

Speaking of incubi, I know you won't include them in any sex scenes, but will you have an incubus befriend Phil in SS 101?

And as for the House, would you use an Incubus as maybe an NPC that helps the MC?

    1. For SS it might make for a funny running gag if one of the succubi tried to introduce Phil to an incubus to "broaden his horizons" and then either have both be comically uninterested in each other or Phil awkwardly trying to avoid/fend off the advances.

I've pretty much already added all the helpful NPCs to the House and I'm reluctant to make that part any more complex. Maybe as a random background event.

  3. Howdy from Texas. I was going through the blog and read all the replies and comments and I found something I didn't quite understand.

You said you found it "difficult" to write a succubus-like Elf girl. Why is that hard man?

The Elegant Lady did say pretty much every Harlot in the House is succubus like, even the female monsters that appear as mythical creatures are succubi to a certain degree.

You made slime girls, spider girls, snake girls, a water nymph, and even the slutty Tinkerbells (succufairies) into being very succubus like.

So why is the elf girl hard?

Also why can't the man simply shoo away the succufairy? If I summoned a succubus but it was instead a succufairy, I would shoo her away back to Hell. What can the tiny fairy do to a big and strong man?

    1. Problem with the elf girls is that they're already very close to human, and the closer you get to human, the more likely they are to be supplanted by succubi. Slime girls, snake girls and spider girls all bring something different to the bedroom because of their nonhuman features.

I'm not ruling out elves entirely, but I would want to find something that's "their" thing that is unique to them. I had a similar problem with vampires, but was able to find something that fits. The same might happen for elves (or rather lust daemons that seem similar to fantasy-world elves, as everything in the setting is a daemon from the Dominion of Lust).

I'm getting more tempted to write the succufairy story. I think it depends on magical power. Physically, a big strong man would easily swat a succufairy away. The problem is when one has enough magical power to charm or bind the man, to prevent him from being able to use his size and strength. There's definitely a fun story there, I think.

  4. I agree with MEH also there are definitely some succubi that do the elf girl fetish thing by hiding their tails, horns, and wings.

I've been wondering for a while, why can't Cerulea go to Earth as freely as Verde and Rosa can? What's stopping her? Will he presence mean Earth will be overtaken by succubi?

Before you write a succufairy story, why not write a one shot about Verde. She's the only one to not get her own one shot.

Nurse Honey had the stag party.

Rosa went to the human bar.

Cerulea had a one shot (two of you count the chapter of she fucking Phil while she was in the Flapper girl form)

Ntye had three (Halloween one, the second one she scares away the SJW Crowd, and the third one where she scares Boobella away)

Verde doesn't even have one :(

Also do you have people accusing Ntye of being a Mary Sue? As she seems to be the best at every thing from sex to fighting.

    1. Cerulea is a plot point that will likely be explored in SS 301.

Verde's one-shot short story idea sadly didn't come together. I might revisit it again at some point.

Mary Sue generally only applies to the protagonist and their main feature is they often come across as annoying and unlikeable even though the creator didn't intend them as such.

Phil's succubi are pretty powerful, but they're also unreliable. They're just as likely to put Phil in danger as drag him out. Nyte is good at fighting, but she's still a succubus. Mid- to High-tier wrath daemons would probably beat her in a fair fight. She's more than a match for most humans and lower-tier daemons.

  5. And given the fact that she has the most one shots, I think you like the sadomasochist succubus the best XD

    ReplyDelete
  6. TBH, the sadomasochist succubus does feel kind of cheap.

Its bad enough a man has to worry about his brain being fried by the sex magic from her, but she can easily rip the man to pieces and could most likely use the shadows to tear apart an enemy.

Nyte is cheap as she's a jack of all stats succubus, capable in fucking good and fighting good like a wrath daemon.

    1. Nyte is awful at lying and pretty bad at deceit. If you wanted a succubus to pose as a King's consort and bring a kingdom down through subtle intrigue, you'd want one of the Bedmistresses.

While she does like to get physical and enjoys a fight, she'd be outmatched vs mid- to high- tier daemons that were more specialised in combat.

Regular humans are around the same power level as low-tier daemons. Any mid- to high-tier succubus is going to seem OP to them (which is generally how the H-space stories play out - the soldiers can fight the low-tier daemons like the scarlet imps, but generally get rekt the moment a more powerful succubus or monster girl shows up).

  7. Sorry I forgot to add that she can even turn people to ash by touch (she kissed that warlock that was younger than Phil and killed him) and she is super tough and has really high pain tolerance.

You say that the succubi are stronger than they are but I don't believe that in Verse's case. What has she done to show her true power?

She was actually a damsel in distress in two instances. One where the teen warlock attacked her and the second she was being drained by the succubi from the college.

Verde seems to be the weakest.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ah ok. It would have been ridiculous that Phil just so happened to summon the STRONGEST Succubi in all of Hell. Good thing there are bigger fish than Nyte.

I can pretty much see what's going to happen with the succufairy one shot.

-Dude tries to summon a succubus for fun.
-Gets a succufairy instead that flirts with him.
-Dude isn't impressed and tries to dismiss her for a succubus, even chuckling at how silly the idea is banging a tiny fairy.
-Succufairy is offended and uses her magic rope to bind the man.

The one shot will be fascinating.

    1. It's subtle, but there's a hint in the Cerulea one-shot (later included in the book version of SS201 as a chapter) that Phil summoning Rosa and Verde wasn't an accident. Cerulea switched books so that anyone using it would summon one of them with a faulty protective circle. This might have happened multiple times until they found a warlock that survived.

Yep, I doubt there would be much fancy in the way of plot for a succufairy story. The tough part would be how jarring to make the switch from humour to horror when the hapless dude realises the little fairy is going to take his soul and he can't do anything to stop it.

  9. Random question Hydra, but how do you feel about the unbirth fetish?

Like, dislike or meh? I know a few of your stories have dabbled in it. I think it's one of the more underserved genres out there. Any plans to include it in HOHH?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I tend to lean more to the vore interpretation of it. It works very well with horror as you either turn someone on or scare the socks off them, and both can enjoy the same story for different reasons.

It's already in HoHH. The spider girl, Arana Solfugis, is heavily inspired by the spider girls in Camel's games. The gluttonous lamia, Queen Colubridis, has an unbirth scene. Nooru and Va-kyuuma are also on the border of that fetish, but tilted much more strongly to horror (Va-kyuuma's Bad End can be very icky if it goes down the wrong path).

  10. When we will get succubus summoning part 3? And how many chapters planned roughly?

    1. After a completion point for House of Hellish Harlots. I had a bad habit of starting lots of things and not finishing them. I'm trying to be stricter on myself when it comes to seeing things through.

Current goal is to add a ton of harlots to HoHH so it has an end, then put a new collection out, then write SS 301. (Which will likely be 13 chapters).

I might try and sneak work on the latter two, if I feel I'm burning out and need a break from HoHH, but I want to avoid letting myself get pulled away and end up with another unfinished project.

  11. How come Verde was able to call Cerluea in Hell when human tech doesn't work? That's why the soldiers in H Space are so screwed because they can't even have automatic rifles.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Why humans think tech doesn't work is not necessarily why their tech doesn't work.

Verde's phone is also magic masquerading as modern tech.

  12. I like to think that every Harlot, the SS 101 Group, the Nice monster girls (Inari, Nicole etc.) are in a big movie theater watching the poor unfortunate man in each story you create trying to survive.

Like those fan fictions where characters react to themselves on screen from past, future, to present.

I know Hydra it sounds strange but I quite like it. Can you see your characters all getting along in the same room?

I've hardly see any succubi or lust daemons fighting to the death in any of your stories.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The lust daemons have various rules to prevent conflict. I might have to break them at some point, otherwise it will shut off some interesting plotlines (and the succubi at the end of SS201 arguably already broke them with their treatment of Verde).

Generally, they don't fight over 'food', but there are probably other areas that might trigger them using their abilities on each other.

Inari and Nicole have a complicated relationship. I hope to write more stories that go into that in the future.

  13. Random question Hydra, but have you seen Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss??? There is an episode that features succubi called Spring Broken.

I hope you aren't bothered by people pestering you on your work. I've noticed you have got more popular after you posted the free Demo.

I hope it continues so you can get people to draw art for you :)

    1. I like Helluva Boss. I'm quite impressed how that series seems to be able to appeal to different internet tribes that would normally hate each other's guts.

It's more anarchic humour than sexy (Western cartoon art styles just don't do sexy IMHO), but definitely fun. I can't remember if it's the Spring Broken episode, but the 4th wall break about the furry girl where they all turn to look at the screen did make me laugh out loud.

  14. On an unrelated note, here's some game news you might be interested in:

MGQ Paradox has just been updated to version 2.4, which adds a lot of content including new sidequests and (apparently) new H-scenes based on images commissioned by fans?

Also, LustGrimm Again is going to have its 1.5 update soon (at the end of the month?), which will also add content.

  15. What do you think a succubus like Satyr would be like Hydra? They are depicted as always having an erection.

I have a feeling a Dominion of Lust Satyr would be a singing and dancing succubus that likes getting drunk and is always 'wet' under there.

Would something like that exist in the Lust Dominion?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Female lust satyr would probably be similar to the succubi out of the Witcher game.

Male would be the same as the myths. Probably wouldn't be too choosy about where that erection goes either! That's the sort of thing I tend to hint happens off-screen in H-space.
