House of Hellish Harlots v0.047 (Mistress Eve Satana)

The public version of House of Hellish Harlots has been updated to 0.047.  You can play it here:
https://houseofhellishharlots.com/

This is a bit of a special release as it adds Mistress Eve Satana, the succubus from my short story "The Biggest Tits in the World".  She's a special case compared to the others.  She's a visiting succubus and doesn't have a room, so she'll invite the player to join her for a very special stage show.

Just don't get too absorbed in admiring her lovely big tits...

I had to make a few code changes to the core module to account for her scenario not taking place in her room, as well as a tweak to The Elegant Woman's code for... reasons...

I should note this is still the plain-text version of HoHH.  I did a ton of work in August on the new version with graphics.  The core code for that is now in place and tested.  I still need to port all the existing harlots across.  Once I've caught up, I'll switch over to the new fancy version.  The current demo (with 16 harlots and some art) can be played under the 'experimental' tag.

If you like what you see and wish to support future development of the project, I have a Patreon and SubscribeStar.

Supporters get an early look at new releases.  I gave them v0.049 yesterday, which adds the lovable slime girl pair, Squishii and Squidgii.

  1. Oh Eva is cool! Also I have a question Hydra, what would Succubus Summoning 101 succubi would think about Morrigan Aensland? What would happen if they met? Would Nyte like her?

    1. Treat her as another high-ranking succubus at a guess. Nyte would probably want to compare notes about fighting moves.

  2. Can someone just outright tell me which charm detects when the Elegant Woman is lying?

  3. Some of these charms are a bit stupid and worthless. Like...what is the point in Pervert's Tool, Nullstone of Nigel Neversham, or the Enchanted Loupe of Jeremiah. Was it intentionally that there would be some useless charms?

If so, the Buxom witch girl its pissing me off for not just telling me what the charms do, but giving me fake ass charms that do nothing. All of her brains must of went that that daemon wench's tits.

    1. Loupe tells you what other charms do, providing an in-game way to hard learn their functions. While never optimal in any particular run, like purchasing (most) information from the Elegant Woman, it's something that's needed from a game design standpoint so that everything's not just in the "manual" (or an online walkthrough/wiki). Like the Oracle in NetHack. The tools, if I recall, tell you when you receive an ailment, which since some are non-obvious is a good hint to hit the nurse. Like the Loupe it shouldn't be needed once you've memorized the patterns but is an important tool. The nullstone does literally nothing and appears to be the one true "booby Prize" in the lot. Its name is kind of a hint as to that if you think about it.

The House seems to follow many of the principles of classical roguelikes or FMV games, in terms of how you're expected to learn by doing (and failing. And dying.) Everything the PLAYER needs to begin to overcome challenges is there (or so it's seemed to me) but it's not presented in a straightforward or "fair" manner because the experience it's trying to generate, from a game perspective rather than a smut one, seems to be that of a lost and confused mark trying to survive om a hostile unknown. Ignorance of the true shape of things would seem to be deliberate.

    2. Pretty much ^this.

The 'game' aspect is withholding information and the player gradually figuring it out. There is intentionally no RNG once the player enters the harlot's room.

What I'd love to add but don't think is possible with Twine is a player's journal that fills up with the information they've learned across runs. This would also enable a skip option for early round harlots where the player has already figured out every permutation and just wants to get to the next round as fast as possible. Maybe if I port the game over to Godot/Unity... That's a long way off though. I need to get a basic version out with Twine first!

  4. Hey, MEH, found this game not a long ago - "Tales of Tei", you play as a chosen Hero who is destined to defeat demons once and for all and yada yada. What I liked was it having QTE system when countering succubus attacks, level draining as a consequence to losing and quite decent art. However I can't fully recommend it as one of "Top succubus games" - the variety of enemies is pretty low and overall it feels like game has a lot of potential but really misses it.
P.S. there are different routes which somewhat increases replayability

    1. I'll give that a look. Haven't had a chance to play many succubus/monster girl eroges recently.

  5. In the intro Main Character stumbles upon Succubus named Temptacia, are you planning on adding her to the story?

    1. Yup. She's one of the special round 5 harlot "mini-bosses". Hoping to start writing her later this month.

  6. Can all succubi drain you and paralyze you with their kisses? Like if a guy had a tongue wrestling match with Rosa, or Verde, would they be able to pretty much paralyze the man with pleasure? Didn't Rosa do this to Phil when he tried to run away when the succubi were in heat?

    1. Depends on the succubus and whether it's a specialty of hers. Weak ones - only if specialised. Strong ones - some power even if not specialised. Strong ones with specialization - can hypnotise on the spot if the man looks at their lips for too long.

  7. Since the succubi are so old, have they ever encountered the early primitive humans? Would the succubi like Verde and Rosa be interested in seducing and 'eating' a prehistoric human, or wouldn't like it because the human as too primitive and animal like? It could be an interesting Vs battle.

    1. Succubi (and other lust daemons) would be more of a typical predator in that setting. Conflict would be in spotting an attractive mate, but being conscious some thing is off. Could throw in how it starts certain superstitious.

Main issue in writing it is that the protagonist would be so far removed from modern humans it would be difficult to write it and also make it relatable to the audience.

Something to file away for future reference, though. That could work with the more monstrous monster girls that have been preying on humans for thousands and thousands of years (maybe a plant girl or ancient arachne).

  8. MEH, have you ever used (or considered) the concept of succubi marking in your stories or in the game? Where succubus (presumably high rank) can mark a human with her special "brand" in this allows her to control him in various ways: seal his orgasms, track his position, enter his thoughts from anywhere etc?

    1. It's not come up, funnily enough. I think it might be because I like to give (vaguely) plausible biological explanations. So, instead of magical brands, the succubi do things like inject special venom, get the person to drink breast fluids containing special venom, or control them with gases. I'm not against it, and some succubi use things that are clearly magic. So, maybe.

  9. At first, I didn’t get why Hydra doesn’t introduce the male monsters and what not, but then I realized after his explanation and taking a look at Touhou Project that they are similar. Because honestly, Hydra’s various sex worlds (SS 101, H-Space, HoHH etc.) feel just like Touhou Project, let me explain:

Touhou Project focuses on the lives of various supernatural female monsters (female yokai) while the male monsters (male yokai) are side characters or background noise.

Hydra focuses on various succubi and monster girls while the male monsters are side characters and background noise.

    See the similarity?

There are obviously male incubi and sex daemons, but Hydra prioritizes focusing on the succubi and monster girls just like ZUN (creator of Touhou Project) prioritizes focusing on the female yokai. It doesn’t mean ZUN and Hydra dislike male monsters; they just know what their audience wants and will give it to them. ZUN’s audience wants to see cute anime monster girls and witches hitting each other with magic bullets while Hydra’s audience want to see supernatural femme fatale actually give their prey sexy sex and not just be teases.

Because of that, you are obviously going to have a cast made up of mostly females, just like you’ll have a cast of mostly males in a testosterone-fueled Action Hero flicks and stories (Predator, Expendables, A-Team, Commando, original He-Man etc.)

After all, no one is demanding that there needs to be male Magical Girls in Sailor Moon or Puella Magi Madoka, or that there needs to be female Space Marines in Warhammer 40K…

Oh wait…there are still people complaining about the female Space Marine thing…

    1. Yup. I generally focus on what I want and can write. Incubi and monster 'boys' are around in the setting, but aren't going to get the same focus. So, while I could come up with a storyline about Koontz (or someone similar) summoning an incubus to get at a homosexual politician/corporate leader, I wouldn't be able to write the sex scenes with any kind of heat or quality because I'm not gay and wouldn't know which things to focus on to bring the 'heat'. I do encourage other writers that are to run with ideas like that if it inspires them. There are probably fun stories as well featuring female protagonists running foul of sexy incubi in H-space, unfortunately I'm not the one to write them.

The female space marine thing is a power play rather than request for genuine inclusivity. It's a group of people wanting to see if they can push a company or organisation to bend the knee. I'm spotty on the lore, but I'm pretty sure GW's 40K already has what are functionally female space marines with the Sisters of Battle/Adeptus Sororitas. It's just a pressure point thing - activist-types and other ne'er do wells trying to satisfy their narcissism by forcing a company/institution to bow to their demands.

"FromSoft should add easy mode" is another one.

"The Doctor should be a woman" is one I remember, and also a cautionary example of why you shouldn't bow down to these people (because they're only interested in satisfying a narcissistic desire to force change - they don't watch the shows, or buy the products afterwards).

  10. For me, I want Hydra to be more inclusive and diverse. As in why are only white guys getting to have "fun" with all these sexy succubi and monster girls? And it appears to be just European white guys and not American white guys.

I want to see a buff big dick black man getting fucked, sucked, and eaten by a succubus :D

No I ain't an SJW, I love your stories Hydra and can't wait to see more HoHH content. Eva was pretty awesome!

    1. Blame the modern SJWs for that. Straight white male writers are kind of put over a barrel. Don't write about different groups of people and you're not diverse enough. Write from the perspective of a different group of people and you're "culturally appropriating" their experiences. It's the intent, of course, which is why creators should just ignore them and create what makes them and their audience happy.

I try not to specify race of the protagonist unless it's relevant to the story for some reason. Succubi are firm believers in equality when it comes to who they fuck and suck (the souls out of). :)

Buff big dick black man getting fucked, sucked, and eaten would be pretty fun. It has happened already in some of the H-space stories, but there's a hidden plot point going on with those that's obscuring things (the characters are not all called Stewart Peter Bate through coincidence... ;) ).

I tend to default to writing what I feel comfortable with. Maybe if the right idea comes along...

  11. I think Hydra is European. Its no coincidence that he has most of the characters and events happening in Europe, like Nicole, Traeger, Madam Voluptula, Inari, Phil, Annette Brite all seem to reside in Europe.

What I don't get is why Hydra uses American soldiers for his H-Space one shots. Why can't he use British or Russian soldiers since he's European? The thing is I can't tell what part he hails from, is he British? German? I don't know.

    1. I wish I'd gone with British squaddies. Those stories would be a lot easier to write!

Them being US soldiers was kind of an accident. When I was much younger, an earlier attempt to be a "proper" horror writer went nowhere because I followed all the "advice" to be serious and accurate and it sucked all the fun out of writing the stories.

When I got the writing bug again and started putting stories up on Literotica, I did it with more of an old pulp ethos - don't sweat the details, just have fun. So, US mobsters in unspecified US cities and Hollywood-accurate American soldiers running foul of sex demons in a dimension of hell. Whatever excuse to set up a hot succubus/monster girl sex scene. It's a bit awkward now that some of these have grown into recurring settings, but that's how it is. Any mistakes (and there are probably many) are my own, and I hope they don't detract from the story too much.

  12. Do succubi love drinking human bodily fluids in general? Verde was licking and drinking Phil's tears, and so did Rosa at the bar attack when she drank the tears of the crying dude. And Nyte even tasting a guy's pee in that Trial one shot where the SJWs were trying to execute the man.

So do succubi just love feeding on human bodily fluids in general? Will Verde get sustenance from drinking human blood?
