New Short Story - "The Banquet of the Queen of the Goblins"

Finally finished that damn carnivorous plant girl story.  Not sure why the 2nd draft took as long as it did, but it did.

Might as well get the bad news out of the way first.  Yes, it is pay-walled behind my Patreon account.  Sorry, regular readers who don't have access to that.  As with the previous boobie girl story, it will find its way into an ebook collection at some point in the future.

You can find it here:

The monster girl was inspired by the carnivorous plant girl from Domination Quest: Kuro and the Naughty Monster Girls.

I did my usual thing when I dip into vore-ish areas to make the monster girl more interested in the sex part rather than the "git in my belly" part, so in that respect she deviates quite a lot from the initial inspiration.

It's another H-space story, although it's more in keeping with my older H-space stories rather than the Stewart Peter Bate stories I experimented with for a while.  At 8,200 words, it is much more like the older stories!

And now onto the more controversial stuff.

This is Patreon pay-walled again, are you ever going to go back to putting stuff up on Literotica for everyone to read?

Right, the problem here is that I'm still chugging along in low gear when it comes to writing.  As much as I don't like or trust the people behind Patreon, it currently is a useful source of income to keep my finances ticking over.  I'm of an old-school mindset when it comes to entertainment.  If people are giving you money, you need to give them something back to make them think it was worth giving you that money.  In this case it's timed exclusives (and some options to name protagonists, etc).

When I set it up, my initial aim was to give patrons something exclusive at least once a month and then anything I produced extra could then go up on Literotica (or here if Literotica found it a little too icky).  As I mentioned earlier, I'm currently stuck in low gear when it comes to productivity.  So far this year I've finished 2 short stories (16K words) and a demo opening section for a possible CYOA game (5K words).  This is obviously not ideal.  The only positive is that I am still chugging along to some extent.

While I am stuck in low gear, my options are limited.  I'd like to get out of low gear, so I can start terrorizing the erotic horror section of Literotica again.  (and also maybe blog a little more frequently than I have been doing of late.)

So, yep, sorry to the readers that can't get on Patreon (or are unwilling to give them money).  I will try and get something done for you at some point.  As for those that can, enjoy... uh... being erotically consumed as my lovely new carnivorous plant girl puts it.

(I'm not entirely sure she's being trustworthy, but her last prey seemed to enjoy himself...)

  1. I'n still eagerly awaiting that next short story collection. I'd probably never be able to initiate any subscriptions due to the low trickle that is my income, and lately that's worse than ever (paying off my bill for my new Surface; not the newest model, just traded in an extra broken model a relative had, but still paying off what the trade-in didn't cover and will be for a few months yet.)

Digital stories on Amazon are reliable like that so long as you don't grab Kindle Unlimited, you pay for exactly what you want and nothing extra and unwanted, just the way I want it. All the lovely stories like Many-Eyed Hydra's works, right at my fingertips.

  2. As usual, I'm writing with something absolutely off-topic. It's a music mash-up that reminds me of your work. Enjoy:

  3. Honestly I feel like the ppl that are backing you up on Patreon are more "important" (might be poor wording) than the ppl that arent. I mean they literally go the extra mile to support you. So I think it is perfectly justified to put some things behind Patreon. Ofcourse I understand the arguement of having free stories here on the blog from time to time... But in the end you kinda need money to write stories just like it is with everything else.

Thus is think having like 1 story a month gated behind Patreon, as well as the option to pick names for the (un)lucky protagonists, is perfectly fine

  4. As one of your Patreon backers I'm not overly concerned with getting exclusive stories. It's 1$ a month, there wasn't a specific reward tier - I'm not expecting anything. It's just to help keep you writing.

    Loved this, incidentally.

  5. The way I see it, if you spend any sizable amount of time producing something for other people, even if it is also a hobby, you should ideally be benefiting from it in some way. A lot of people can't afford to devote multiple hours a day to artistic projects--life, with all its demands, only grants you so much time and energy. So, if you like what someone is doing, try to reward/compensate them for it so they can continue.

  6. This doesn't have anything to do with this post, but for those who are interested: there's an update from Torotoro about the status of MGQ: Paradox (http://b.dlsite.net/RG07939/archives/51825217.html). Still no release date, but it contains a preview of the succubus ancestor Minagi, and the next updates will apparently preview the other Six Ancestors and the Seven Archangels.

  7. When are you going to work on the next succubus summoning?

    1. When I can get the gears moving again properly. I've had at least 3 novels implode in the past couple of years, so my confidence is not the best at the moment - hence trying to get it back by going back to the sort of short stories I started with.

  8. Well i hope you are enjoying your Summer, I am looking forward to "The Good, the Bad, and the Monstrously Beautiful" story you have planned out. In the mean time if you ever get the chance would love to hear your opinion on a little game my friends been working on

    1. Seems promising.

I'm guessing there's just the lesser succubus and leafhair succubus at the moment.

      Art looks good.

Lesser Succubus's dialogue was a bit too Hulk SMASH! for her to be that sexy for me. Leafhair's scene is fine.

Not sold on the core combat loop. Seems to be get the primary counter measure in place, get the secondary counter measure in place, then attack/heal 2-3 times and repeat. Generally means the player is only doing something relevant 1-2 attacks in 4. Also, there needs to be a better indication when things like Iron Will expire. Not too much of a biggee though. For these games it's the succubus art and scenes that are the main priority.

    2. Lesser, leafhair and White Demon if you don't skip the prologue. But yea this was just a demo there will be a total of 35-40 different succubi in the game by the end.

The combat is getting reworked and it should be more engaging and balanced out since more attacks and abilities will be added on, Iron Will will expire after a set amount of time but players themselves will have to count how many turns it lasts and then remember it every time they use it.

Anyway thanks for checking it out, was looking forward to your opinion on it a lot. There is much more to come, the first chapter should arrive in September.
