Try Again with House of Hellish Harlots - This Time to v0.039

Okay, something seems to have gone wrong with the last public update of House of Hellish Harlots.  Enough people have reported only seeing v0.037, so it looks like something didn't go through.

I'm still not entirely sure what's gone wrong.  I did notice that Elementor appears to have taken control of the shortcode text box I was using to load in the embedded Twine .html, which it wasn't before.

I've tried updating to v0.039 (just the embedded file, not the changelog).

I now see v0.039 when I load up https://houseofhellishharlots.com/ and hit play.  What do you see?

    Nope. Still not seeing the bunny girl even when I ask for her using a Mulligan Token.

    You see 0.039 from EVERY device you try? Your main PC / your phone / your friend's PC / some public PC in some old library? I could hardly believe that. If only 1 of your devices shows the newest version the deal might be in different permission levels, you are somehow acknowledged as admin (or some other highly privileged entity) while others are not, so they see the old version

      It's v0.037 on a backup device, so I'm able to replicate the problem.

    its probably some sort of cdn caching issue. it might be getting updated locally for you, but the cdn's that everyone who's commenting (probably americans :P) is probably still cached to an older version.

      Gotta try VPN/proxy for various countries to check this theory. British proxy (I guess MEH is from Britain) might show us the newest version

      Tried it on an old laptop. Not working on that, so VPN to British proxy unlikely to fix things.

    This is the rather infamous "It works on my machine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" problem. Since it works for you, your machine must be loading the resources differently or from a different source.

    As far as I can see, the new version is up there, but the main document has not been updated. It still links to v0.037 (which has not been deleted, actually). I hope this helps.

      I'd suggest him hardcoding this to the containing iframe

      I think it already is - I update the shortcode to the new filename with every new release.
