Let's Play Violated Hero 4: Another Story! part 4

Time for the 4th part of my playthrough of Violated Hero 4: Another Story, the additional add-on for Violated Hero 4 (I suppose it could be called DLC).  The first part is back here.  It’s a hentai game, so the usual warnings and disclaimers apply.

Last up we . . . well it wasn’t really a fight to win this time.  Mea’s first fight is unloseable and her second fight is unwinnable if you’re foolish enough to select that option.

canon!Luka-clone did not and the story continues with Mea getting upset at his refusal and blindly charging him.  She’s not very powerful and Marietta kicks her off.

Lilith points out that trying to fight a nightmare (I think that’s what Mea’s supposed to be) in dreams would be like taking on one of the major demon kings.  So good job we didn’t do that then.

Marietta drags Mea back and I think they persuade her to recognise Sharia’s authority as the one true demon lord.  I’m not sure how Luka-clone manages to do this.  I think he might have said she can play in his dreams some time.  It’s a long list, little nightmare.  You might be waiting a while.

Then it’s back to the town and Luka-clone fretting about the punishment Sharia is going to inflict on him for skiving off on this little adventure.  The new recruits are with them.

Their dialogue is a little limited:

“Wear me!”

“Play with me in dreams!”

is about the extent of it.

They all go off to a hotel Lilith recommends.  Harem scene incoming?

Then there follows some talky bits I failed to get a good translation of.  Luka-clone goes to his room, but before he can get a good night’s sleep he’s interrupted first by Marietta and then later by Lilith.  I think Marietta is asking when they’re going back.  Later on Lilith seems keen on extending the little adventure.

There’s even more text, but it’s basically a precursor to Lilith pushing Luka-clone back on the bed, blindfolding him and tying his hands behind his back.

Nothing to worry about here.  Just a bit of friendly bondage with Lilith.

She moves her hips against Luka-clone and then gives him a proper snog.

He even passes out to give that Bad End feeling to the Good End.

I’m assuming this is a Good End.  Maybe the developers at Dieselmine hated the character so much they put this little addendum out just so that Lilith could drain him to a withered husk.

Nope.  Luka-clone wakes up.

Oh, where are we?

Ah.  Some kind of seal got broken and a powerful monster got loose.  Lilith says he should delay returning to the castle until this new threat has been dealt with.  I suspect this will be the first of many ‘threats’ delaying Luka-clone’s return to the castle.  Lilith doesn’t like getting bored after all.

(3 guesses who released that seal.  The first two don’t count.)

Then it’s the proper Good End as we leave them to their adventuring.

But that isn’t quite the end.  If you unlock all the H-scenes in a Violated Hero game an additional extra scene is unlocked from the main menu.

Another Story is no different here.  This will probably be the harem scene.  I’ll go through it next time.

Let's Play Violated Hero 4: Another Story! part 3

This is part 3 of the Violated Hero 4: Another Story playthrough.  The first part is here.

Last up we ran into the slime girl mimic, Irizu.  This time it’s time to tackle the second rogue monster girl.  She looks like a cute little imp or succubus.

First up we have the obligatory post-win talk where Luka-clone somehow charms the defeated monster girl onto his side.  This time he rather foolishly promises to wear Irizu at some point.

This is extremely foolish, as Marietta points out—once he puts Irizu on he won’t be able to take her off again.

Unfortunately Luka-clone promised and as he belongs to the stupid, My Word Is My Bond, hero type this puts him in a bit of a pickle.

Lilith, of course, finds it all hilarious.

I’m not sure how they resolve this as I fail to unravel the mystery translations again.  I think Luka-clone’s going to put her on later, or something.  I’m fairly certain he made similar promises to most of his monster girl harem in the last game.  Maybe that’s what happens.  He hits his 30th birthday and all the monster girls draw straws to be the one that gets to fuck him until his brains dribble out of his ears.

After collecting up Irizu it’s time to head off to the cave and sort out the other one.

Hmm, there doesn’t appear to be a central map this time.  I wonder if I’ll be able to replay the levels to make sure I’ve uncovered all the wandering mooks (although I’m surprised they’ve added new designs to be honest.  The Violated Hero series was always light on the game elements, but this add-on has felt more like a visual novel with a couple of RPG fights so far).

The cave has a new monster girl design for the wandering monster as well.  Ah, typical Violated Hero.  I have no idea what she is.  Maybe a millipede and an octopus got a little frisky and she hatched out a few months later.

At the end of the path there’s no sign of the other rogue monster girl either.  Lilith suggests they split up.  I’m wondering if this is a devious new plan of hers to get Luka-clone slurped up.  She should know by now he’s completely useless on his own.

Yep, they decide to split the party.  Nice knowing you, Luka-clone.

He walks for a while and starts feeling sleepy.  It sounds like a little succubus is trying to charm him to sleep, but then she manages to trip over a rock and botch the whole thing.  Her and Luka-clone seem like a perfect match at this point.

Lilith and Marietta come back.  The succubus, or rather imp—she seems a lot like the big-boobed imp Monster Girl Quest threw in for comic relief—tries again to get Luka-clone to fall asleep.  She seems a bit hopeless to be honest.  One of the translations gives her name as Miguel.  Is Miguel a sexy name for a girl in Japan?  I’ll go with Mea as that’s what the katakana charts say.

Oh, that’s a bit weird.  The game jumps right into the fight without giving the usual option of quaffing healing potions beforehand.

So how hard is the little imp?

20HP?  Really?

One swat from Luka-clone’s sword is enough.  She really is like the loli imp from MGQ.  I wonder if this is supposed to be a joke battle or she’s going to morph into a bigger threat for the real fight.

Okay, from this point on it got a little complicated.  After the fight Mea begs for a rematch, but this time in dreams.  You can choose to accept or refuse.  The choices I picked ended up taking me right to the end of the chapter, but as it’s a little early to go there I’ll rewind and check out Mea’s Bad End first.

First off let’s try and throw that first fight.  This might be a little harder than it looks.  The red boot option (escape vs. normal mooks, auto loss vs. bosses) is disabled and Mea’s attacks only do 1HP of damage with each hit.  I think this is supposed to be an auto-win fight.

A challenge, but not impossible.  If I only use the green eyeball action (scan for their amount of HP) in theory she should be able to whittle my HP to 0.  Did the developers think of everything?

Hmm, this might take some time.  Come on, Mea.  Put your back into it.

And . . .

Haha, in this case the developers did not think of everything.  After Mea ‘defeats’ me the game carries on as though I’d won.  Tut tut.

Then there are those options.  The first option, declining to fight her, is the correct option.  But we want to see her Bad Ends, so let’s have a rematch.  In dreams.

Marietta and Lilith warn us that this is a bad idea.

Ulp.  Yep, definitely a bad idea.  She’s a bit ‘ard in dreams.

I’m not entirely sure if this is a winnable fight.  She one-hit-KOs me.

Marietta and Lilith call us stupid for agreeing to Mea’s rematch and abandon Luka-clone to his fate.

It’s back to the dream world for Mea to properly play with us.  She makes two clones and goes to work on Luka-clone’s nipples and cock.

There are lots of sucky-sucky sounds and the Meas make Luka-clone come by just sucking on his nipples.  (That sort of thing never does anything for me—must have super-insensitive nipples)

Then the back Mea wraps her sizeable boobs around Luka-clone’s cock for a bit of paizuri + blowjob.

That’s the first scene out of the way.  As with Irizu, there isn’t an immediate jump to the next scene.  Luka-clone wakes up back in the cave.  Because of what happened in the dream he’s still under Mea’s control, sort of, despite her being a puny imp in the real world.  She gives him a bell.

She tells him that if he rings the bell before sleeping she’ll come and give him nice (and presumably extremely naughty) dreams.  Not seeing either the nightmare or Bad End part here.

Oh, Luka-clone gets addicted to the bell and doesn’t go back to the castle.  Foolish hero.

Let’s have a peek at what he’s getting.

Dream sex with Mea it seems.  As usual Luka-clone comes from a bit of frottage (Had to look that up, sounds like it should be a cheese) as Mea rubs her pussy lips against him.

Luka-clone comments that he knows the ejaculations he’s having here are also happening in the real world as he keeps waking up with crusty underwear from his night-time emissions.  Crusty.  You could probably use his underwear as plate armour now!

Let's Play Violated Hero 4: Another Story! part 2

Righty-ho.  We’re running a playthrough of Violated Hero 4: Another Story.  This is an additional chapter for the Violated Hero 4 game.  I started the playthrough here and should probably include the usual disclaimer—sexy-squicky stuff incoming, run away if that’s not your thing.

Last time around was a fairly lengthy intro that ended up with Lilith giving Luka-clone’s cock a big suck with her tail until he agreed to go with her on a trip to bring two rogue monster girls to order.

Then it’s off on the arduous journey to the far-flung place . . . which Lilith moves them to instantaneously through a teleport square on the floor.

Hmm.  Does anywhere count as far-flung if you can just teleport straight there?

Marietta hears noise and comes into the room to investigate.  She finds the teleport square.  So this is how she ends up in the adventuring party.  Out in not-so-far-flung place, Lilith and Luka-clone see the teleport activated and Luka-clone is terrified it’s Sharia coming to discipline him for shirking his work responsibilities.

Nope, just Little Miss Vacuum Cleaner.  She does try to discipline Luka-clone, but Lilith manages to talk her into tagging along.

Look Dieselmine, we know they’re going to run off and find the sexy, so let’s get on with it!

Luka-clone thinks this should be straightforward.  It’s only a couple of minor monster girl bosses and he’s beaten gods and demons (okay, so it was his harem that did all the hard work.  Leave the lad alone).  Then Lilith tells him she’s going to seal (reduce?) her powers because a fight isn’t fun if the outcome is obvious.  So that’s the awkward reset out of the way that explains how Luka-clone might lose to one of these despite already beating the most powerful monster girl demon in the land.

We’re back to the good old days where if Luka-clone loses, naughty naughty things will be done to him.  (That’s the only reason we’re all here, let’s be honest).

Hmm.  There’s a choice of where to go next—forest or cave.  I pick forest and then finally we’re out of the visual novel part and into the game part.  It’s the usual branching path exploration with some new wandering mooks thrown in.

This time the mook is some kind of elf with a weird plant tail.  She’s also carrying a creepy plushy doll.

I reach the end of the path without finding any rogue monster girls.  Luka-clone notices some armour and a sword lying around.  He thinks it might have been left behind after some unlucky adventurer got slurped up by a monster girl.  He goes over to pick it up so he can take it back to the former owner’s family so they can bury it.

Yes, yes.  Obvious trap.

Lilith and Marietta try to warn him, but it’s already too late.

Blacksmith!  This armour appears to have a slime girl in it.

The “armour” is a type of parasitic mimic that tricks people into putting her on and then treats the host as a domestic animal.

I guess that means fight or submit to a life of being told what to do by your T-shirt.

As I got most of the character names wrong for VH5, I remember to go to the dlsite and get them from the product description.  Which doesn’t have them.  Guess I’ll have to translate raw from the katakana.  Sentient T-shirt’s name comes out as Irizu, which might map to something like Elise, but my Japanese is too non-existent to know for sure.  Irizu it is.

She takes a few hits and we even get to see her (useless) sex attack.  This time it’s the old model snot attack in a fetching shade of sky blue.

Running through a Violated Hero game beating everything is sort of against the purpose of the game, so it’s time to sub in alt!Luka-clone from the bench, rewind back to the start of the fight, and then throw it.

Bad End time.

Both Lilith and Marietta are so disgusted with us losing they teleport off and abandon Luka-clone to his slimy fate.

In her natural form Irizu resembles a blue slime girl.  Once she has skin contact with Luka-clone she’s able to speak directly in his mind.  I remember something like this happening to Spider-man when he picked up his new snazzy black threads.  That didn’t work out so well.

Because she’s a slime girl she makes us feel like we’re being kissed with lots of lips wherever she touches us.  Then she makes it feel like being licked by hundreds of tongues.

Then follows the usual way of breaking people in the Violated Hero universe.  Irizu gives Luka-clone’s cock a lot of stimulus but won’t let him come until he agrees to be her host.

Then, rather than go straight to the second scene, there’s a short interlude of Luka-clone out fighting monster girls and saving folks with his new mimic armour.  He questions whether this is that effective considering he was already keeping most of humanity safe by doing all the bureaucratic stuff back at the castle.  Irizu doesn’t like his insubordination and decides to come out and 'punish' him.

Punishing apparently involves riding him reverse cowgirl style.

Yes please, can I be punished too?

Let's Play Violated Hero 4: Another Story! part 1

Before Violated Hero 4 came out, Dieselmine held a fan competition to decide which two fan entrants should be included in the upcoming game.  Busty, the incredibly endowed cow girl demoness, and Marietta, the robot maid, were the eventual winners.  Dieselmine must have liked some of the other ideas as well, as two of them found their way into this additional chapter set after the end of Violated Hero 4 - Violated 4: Another Story.

I bought this a while back, but didn’t get around to checking it out before Violated Hero 5 came out.  Now I’ve got a bit of spare time I thought I’d give it the Let’s Play! treatment.

We’re back to the world of Violated Hero 4.   Luka-clone ver4.0 is easily the weakest protagonist of the whole Violated Hero series.  His whole function is to walk around, pump some semen into Lilith’s mouth and watch while her magic wrecks everything.

Yep, this is the one where Lilith led an uprising to usurp the current demon lord (Sharia).  The intro gives some other story about a brave man going on a quest to rescue humanity from the sexy oppression of naughty monster girls, but we all know what really happened.

And here’s Lilith.

Turns out we’re on a trip somewhere.  Then Lilith starts talking about tormenting Luka-clone’s penis and pretty back passage.  I think I know where this is going to go.

Oh, the robot maid, Marietta, is also in this one.  Expect uses of a vacuum cleaner beyond the prescribed function.

She tells him he might as well go along with what Lilith says as he doesn’t have a chance of beating her.  I think we already knew that.

Then it’s a flashback back to the demon castle where Luka-clone is buried under mountains of paperwork.  Lilith pops in.  She’s bored.  Her being bored usually ends up with naughty stuff happening to Luka-clone.

By reading some of the documents she learns there are a couple of monster girls in far-flung locations not currently obeying the edits of Sharia, the demon lord.  I suspect this is the plot point that provides the excuse for flinging Luka-clone into the sexy embrace of the new monster girls.

Luka-clone isn’t interested.  Too much paperwork to do.

He finally drags himself away from his desk around midnight.  Little Miss Vacuum Cleaner is still around.  I think she’s pissed off she’s been put to cleaning the castle rather than her home mansion with all her robo-sisters.

A worn out Luka-clone crashes on his bed, but doesn’t manage to get a good night’s sleep as Lilith shows up to give our cock a good suck.  And it’s H-scene no.1.

Lilith thinks that because Luka-clone’s been sleeping in the castle he might have stopped taking monster girls seriously and needs a reminder of what they are.  She does this by gobbling up his penis with her tail.

The scene is a bit of training and a bit of arm-twisting.  Luka-clone is always premature—so she squeezes the root of his cock so nothing can come out.  The arm-twisting, or I suppose cock-squeezing, is about the trip she wants to go on to discipline those naughty rogue monster girls.

It doesn’t take much to get Luka-clone to promise to come along and then Luka-clone comes buckets inside her tail.

Hentai Game Review: Violated Hero 5

I was supposed to do a review/summary right after I finished my playthrough, but then various things came up.  Here it is as a general resource for people that don’t want to slog through the whole playthrough.

Violated Hero 5 is the fifth instalment in a series of monster girl hentai RPG games.  The first two used Dungeon Master-style (I suppose for the younger audience Etrian Odyssey-style) navigation through a pseudo-3D maze.  From VH3 onwards the exploration element has been reduced to a series of branching paths with events at each node.

Violated Hero is nominally an RPG in that the main character fights random monster encounters to level up stats enough to get past the various boss characters at the end of each location.  The mechanics are very straightforward.  There’s little complexity and the gameplay is mostly filler connecting one Bad End scene to the next.  Like most monster girl hentai games, Violated Hero is a Game-Over-Rape game.  If you lose to one of the boss characters you get to see her do naughty and frequently perverse things to the male protagonist.  As with previous entries, VH5 features ten minor bosses and five major bosses.  Each has two to three H-scenes, with some additional non-Bad-End scenes as well.  The H-scenes have always been one of Violated Hero’s strong points.  The artwork is usually gorgeous and each scene is fully voiced.

Violated Hero 5 came out very quickly after Violated Hero 4 and my concern, along with others, was that they’d rushed this.  Most of the monster girl designs looked a little too cartoony and loli-esque for my liking, especially the final designs of the fan contest winners.  Dieselmine, the makers, have an odd habit of improving some aspects of their series with each new iteration, but also getting something comically wrong elsewhere in the process.  For VH5 I think they managed to undermine one of their key strengths—the character designs.

So what’s different this time around?  Despite sometimes looking like an underage choirboy in some of the scenes, the main protagonist can handle himself in a fight.  This is more like VH3 than VH4.  The mechanic of recruiting a travelling harem and then ignoring them because the first companion’s magic attack is so much stronger than everyone else’s is gone.

Also new this time is additional Bad End scenes for the bonus mini bosses.  In earlier games these used to be conventional monsters that provided stats bonuses when defeated.  In VH4 they became sexy monster girls and in VH5 they now have small Bad End scenes.  These are voice-only scenes and vary in eroticism from not bad to ick!

Compared to previous instalments VH5 is a little lighter on the ick factor.  The scenes with the first five bosses have plenty of ick moments, but after that the game becomes more vanilla.  This will be a plus or a minus depending on how much you liked the bonkers craziness present in previous games.  Overall, the monster girl designs are also a little more vanilla this time around.  I would have liked to have seen a couple more imaginative types like the two-headed cyclops girl or sandworm girl from VH4.

For the first part of the game I did think the concerns about it being rushed out and that affecting the quality might be valid.  At that point I would have placed it as much weaker than previous entries.  The game got a lot better once I met the major bosses.  The scenes were much hotter and the story and characters are actually rather good.  Violated Hero is much better when the major characters have competing agendas and plans rather than the One Big Boss With Four Generals model used in VH2 and 4.

One major plus point was the character of Ariel, the crazy manic-pixie-dream-girl angel that accompanies you on your quest.  She’s cowardly, annoying, but also frequently funny.  A surprisingly well-written character in other words.

Overall, once you get the weak start out of the way, it’s another solid addition to the monster girl hentai game library from Dieselmine.

Hentai Game Review: Monsters 'n Girls

I can’t really do a full playthrough of this as it’s an arcade game with minimal plot.  Lewd demons have invaded a peaceful fantasy kingdom and it’s up to a brave knight to save the day.

You know those porn parody films with titles like This Is Not [Insert name of TV Show/Film] XXX.  Well Monsters ‘n Girls is basically this for the old arcade classic Ghouls ‘n Ghosts.  Anyone familiar with the original will spot the similarities in the intro, game play, level design and even in some of the monsters.

Monsters ‘n Girls is an action platformer where you fling lances at various monster girl enemies.  The hentai element is provided by pixel hentai animations.  Whenever you get knocked over, the nearest monster girl will climb on top and start fucking you.  This is similar to games like Eroico, Milia Wars and The Paradise Fortress of RePure Aria.  There are a wide range of monster girls, so you can expect to be glooped by slime girls, wrapped up in lamia coils and ridden by lusty succubi during the course of the game.

Thankfully it’s not as brutally hard as the game it’s parodying/homaging.  The normal mode is effectively infinite lives and the checkpoints are placed close enough that even platformer-incompetents like me can make it to the end.

The pixel scenes and artwork are fine, but—despite a good selection of monster girls—the sex scenes could do with a little more variety.  It’s weaker in that respect than either Eroico or Paradise Fortress, but at its price is a cheap and sexy distraction.  And those nostalgic for the old Ghouls ‘n Ghosts will enjoy it.

(For nostalgia I did try playing Ghouls ‘n Ghosts again on MAME.  That did not go well.  The game is still as brutally difficult as I remember).

New story for Halloween – What Kevin Did Last Summer

It’s that time of the year where I go shamelessly vote-whoring.

Literotica’s 2014 Halloween story competition has started and I have a runner.

Actually, it was supposed to be my entrant for the Summer contest, but the succubus ended up having far too much fun and the story grew too long for me to finish in time for the deadline.  Like pretty much every story I’ve written, it also fits the Halloween theme.  So I entered it into that competition rather than wait until next year.

What Kevin Did Last Summer

I talked about how voting works in the Literotica contests back here.  In short, anything other than a 5 is worse than no vote at all.  Literotica is also fairly sharp at spotting shenanigans.  Bashing competitors and multi-voting on a favoured story doesn’t achieve anything as they have a good filtering system for removing dodgy votes.  It’s why I like Lit’s contests.  I play fair (I don’t even vote on my own entrants) and can still place.

I don’t know how this one will do.  “Streetwalking with a Succubus” placed in the money last year.  This features a similar character to Nicole and is nicer than my usual ambush-the-unsuspecting-paranormal-romance-fans-with-horror-and-vore entrants.  The sex is hot, but the story might not have as strong an aww factor as my previous winners.  We’ll see.  A lot will depend on the quality of the other entrants (no full-length novels this time, please!).

Speaking of Nicole.  While I was writing “What Kevin Did Last Summer” I had an idea for a story—possibly even novella or novel length—featuring both Nicole and Madam Voluptula together.  How does that sound?  Would you like to read about Nicole and Madam Voluptula double-teaming some poor (lucky!) unsuspecting dude?

This is another story inspired by artwork I’d seen on the internet.  This time it was of a lamia or slug-type monster girl engaged in unbirth.  I didn’t know that much about the vore fetish at the time.  The picture seemed sexy and it gave me an idea to give the protagonist a kind of twisted rebirth (to make a change from all the Sucked To A Withered Husk stories).  The planar catastrophe was another excuse to throw a clearly non-human monster girl into a contemporary setting.  Trying to think about how that catastrophe happened gave birth to hell-space, my goto setting for monster girls that aren’t an easy fit for a modern-day setting.


Squeezed

This was the second story I submitted to Literotica.  Succubi and similar monster girls are one interpretation of the highly seductive, sexually-dominant femme fatale.  Other classic examples come from super-hero comics (eg. Poison Ivy).  The character that eventually became Sister Squeeze was originally going to be in “The Embrace of Uvulu’ai” until I realised her bright and colourful powers were more suited to a comic book setting.  The story was also a fun opportunity to have a sideswipe at the so-called moral guardians who are less than moral themselves.


Happy Ending

The title is both a troll and an allusion to the euphemism of ‘Happy Ending’ (a sex act that gives a client an ejaculation at the end of a massage) used by massage parlours.  Erotic body-to-body massage given by a girl on top of an airbed is one of my favourite porn scenarios and I’ve used it a number of times in my stories (it’s also a lot of fun irl too ;) ).  It was a perfect opportunity to bring back Annette Brite and also add a sneaky reference back to “Bubble Bath” (yes, the stunning girl Clive walks past as he enters the shop is the succubus from “Bubble Bath”).  The troll part is an acknowledgement that most of my stories, while sexy, often don’t end well for the central characters.  The title reflects that irony.

And then the real happy ending.  I knew I couldn’t constantly write about ‘dude encounters sexy demon girl, demon girl sucks out his life/soul’ without it starting to get repetitive and/or people starting to wonder if I had some deep-seated psychological problems about sex.  Horror (and horror films specifically) doesn’t have a good track record here when the central message of most slasher flicks can be summed as thus:  Have Sex And You Will Die!!!

I needed a ‘nice’ succubus and along came Nicole.  All the sexy goodness with none of that icky death stuff.  Maybe.  I wanted to leave enough hints of darkness so the readers don’t forget what she is (and a little uncertainty makes the sex more thrilling).  Jack Newman is a politician because it was a realistic way of establishing Nicole’s credentials as an exclusive escort and also because I liked the irony of a politician, normally a despised profession - with good reason - in fiction, being the one to get the ‘happy ending’.

Hydra's Inspiration - A Succubus for Christmas (part 2)

Carrying on with where the inspiration came from for the stories from my first collection, A Succubus for Christmas.


Hookahed

This was the first story I submitted to Literotica.  It’s another old fantasy of mine.  For the early stories the plots were usually excuses to set up a twisted sex scene with hot demonesses.  Koontz’s unconventional appearance was inspired by news stories of a real life mob boss (think it might have been Vincent Gigante) walking around outside in nothing more than a bathrobe to make the authorities think he was crazy.  The idea of a mob boss with a harem of succubi at his command seemed too good not to use again, and so Koontz became another of my regular characters.


Pool of the Undine

Another story inspired by a monster girl picture I’d seen online, this time of a slime girl.  The weird cave out in the moors seemed like a nice location for her to hide.


Slayer vs. Succubus

This was intended as an affectionate subversion of the classic eighties action hero stereotype.  I love those films even though it’s obvious anyone behaving like that in real life would most likely fuck everything up epically.  Super virile action hero versus infernal mistress of temptation was never going to end well in my universe.  This is a story I’m torn on.  It’s fun, but it’s also very goofy.  Quite a few readers let me know they liked this one and I try to remind myself to write similar stories every so often to break up the flow of grimdark ones.


Arachne’s Web

This one is unique to this collection.  I’d wanted to do an Arachne story for a while, but unlike succubi, which are easy to hide in a modern-day setting, a demon with the lower body of a giant spider is a little more noticeable.  I made her a dream demon to get around this.  The non-sex part of the story was inspired by a real life (and tragic) news story of an otherwise successful Brit going on the run in the states after shooting his wife.

The writing of it is another story.  Selena Kitt spotted my work on Literotica and encouraged me to put a collection together for publication through eXcessica.  I knew it would crazy to expect people to pay for work that was already available for free online, so I decided to include at least one original story (ideally a novella) for the folks prepared to part with their cash.  That was this one and it ended up being a complete bitch to write.  I suspect this was because I knew I was writing something for publication rather than fun and some of those old niggling writer doubts about being good enough had resurfaced to fuck around with my productivity.

I hated the story at the time.  It was only when I came back later I saw how nicely the concepts and imagery (the way she ‘eats’ the memories of his past loves and replaces them with her) came together.  It’s my favourite of the collection.  It might make a decent horror film as well (hint hint, for anyone out there with experience of making such things).

Hydra's Inspiration - A Succubus for Christmas (part 1)

A couple of months back I wrote a post on examples of where I got my inspiration from.  I said I might expand on this for stories I'd already written and a few folk seemed interested.  Most horror collections include some musings by the author at the back as to where the stories came from.  I thought I'd copy that theme and run through the stories from my first collection, A Succubus for Christmas.

It's a behind-the-scenes look, so there might be a few spoilers if you haven't already read these stories.


A Succubus for Christmas

I wanted a Christmas-themed story to enter into one of Literotica’s online story competitions.  For a while I was struggling to think of a way to combine succubi and horror with holiday niceness, and then the little black cells vomited out this idea and it fell into my lap pretty much fully formed.  At the heart it’s the classic horror genie trope—character finds artefact containing wish-granting entity, gets good stuff . . . but what about the cost.


The Masterton Covenant

Another classic horror trope—old guy in a bar telling a tale of woe.  It’s one of the few stories I’ve written using first-person PoV.  I’m not a big fan of using it for horror as—found footage stories and obnoxious stylist tricks aside—it’s a fairly glaring tip off the protagonist survives.  In this case it’s the point of the story.  He’s trying to warn others but he knows that ultimately the succubus left him alive as bait to draw in fresh prey.


Bubble Bath

This is an old fantasy—a sexy succubus coalescing out of bubbles to share a sexy bubble bath with a(n) (un)lucky dude.  This is the first story to feature Annette Brite, New Age shop owner and possible witch.  In the original idea she was a wizened old crone with a market stall.  I changed her into the alluring and mysterious owner of a New Age shop and realised this was an interesting character I could reuse in further stories.


Flesh Pitchers of Prague

The inspiration for this came from various artworks I’d seen of monster girls that were pitcher plant hybrids.  This was the 7th story I posted up on Literotica and my old short story writing instincts were returning with a desire to add more background and story to flesh out the obligatory sex scenes.  Strip Club With A Dark Secret is another classic horror trope (Think From Dusk ‘til Dawn, Vamp, etc.).  In those stories the survivor is usually the morally upstanding one that never wanted to be there in the first place.  I deliberately subverted that as brutally as I did to knock readers off guard.  The imagery for the final scene was inspired by a scene from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.


I had a set plan when picking the stories for my first collection.  The first is a generic succubus story.  The second lays out the general background for people unfamiliar with the succubus myth.  The third expands on the myth and shows more imaginative interpretations.  The ending of the fourth is to let the reader know we’re not fooling around here – this is an erotic horror collection.

Let's Play Violated Hero 5! part 17

This is the last part of my Violated Hero 5 playthrough.  If you’ve just joined and have no idea what I’m talking about, the start and enlightenment can be found here.  If you’ve been here all the way you’ll know that Violated Hero 5 is an explicit and sometimes squicky monster girl hentai game.  People offended by that sort of thing should leave now.

First up I suppose I should apologize for the rather irregular schedule.  Normally I like to update these playthroughs every couple of days and normally I’m usually a few posts ahead and can do this.  This time around I fell behind and the update schedule ended up being a little patchier than usual, especially when I’m also trying to edit and post a delayed chapter for Succubus Summoning and finish a monster 12K word short story (more on that in a couple of weeks).

Back to the game and we won.  Shiva, Goddess of Destruction showed up and Luka-clone beat her scaly ass with much imbibing of liquid fortifications.

(It’s entirely possibly I might be a little tipsy typing this up as I finished a rough Friday at work with four bottles of beer consumed within a half hour period)

I’m going to assume that was the final fight as there’s only one slot left in the CG replay menu and Dieselmine isn’t quite as sneaky as Torotoro Resistance was with the final part Monster Girl Quest.

Shiva is also surprised when Luka-clone holds back on the killing blow, especially considering the whole universe is at stake here.

Um, Luka-clone buddy, I know you’re honourable and noble and all that, but there is a time and a place and with the worlds imploding all around us, this might be a good time to accidentally trip and thrust your sword into soft bits of anatomy.  Just sayin’

At least Shiva doesn’t immediately try to murderate us like Luna-Tea and Satan did.  Luka-clone’s explains he isn’t going to kill her because she’s a victim of her curse.

She does call him stupid for this.  Destruction God on the verge of blowing up all reality, I think she might have a point.

Luka-clone does have back up as the full cheerleading squad shows up.

(You know they’re all going to fuck him senseless at the first opportunity.)

Then I’m not entirely sure what happens as machine translation starts struggling.  Luka-clone beating Shiva, in fact beating all of them, in combat has some significance.  Each of the major bosses chips in with confirmation of what Shiva said and it ends up with all five dog-piling on Luka-clone.

It’s the Happy Ending Harem scene!

I think our heroic ambulatory bag of concentrated semen is in there somewhere.

Five girls on one dude is actually a little tricky.  There’s always one poor girl that ends up being left out (unless you can get skilled with your big toe).

I’d say it was Shiva here, but I think that’s her tail wrapped around Luka-clone’s manhood.

The dialogue runs through each of the characters.  We have Satan pushing her big tits in Luka-clone’s face.  We have one hand on Shiva’s tit.  Safi is giving the shaft a good licking.  Ariel is working on Luka-clone’s balls and Luna-Tea is licking away on the glans.

Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t take much of that for Luka-clone to blow.  Then there’s lots of slurpy sounds as they enjoy his semen.  This triggers another cumplosion and this carries on until the picture is slowly whited out with cum.

Good End Game Over.

That’s not quite the last of it.  The menu screen now has an extra option at the bottom.

This takes us to an epilogue.  The worlds have been divided up peacefully between Team Good and Team Evil and humans are sort of co-existing with monster girls.

There’s still the occasional bickering.  Luna-Tea and Satan are having an argument about something my machine translator fails to pick up entirely.  Ariel unwisely gets in the middle of it and Luna-Tea finally gives her that slap she’s been threatening for most of the game.  Ariel wails for Luka-clone to intervene.  Not sure why.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a VH protagonist do anything remotely assertive in the whole of the series.

Shiva shows up and it turns out their conflict resolution consists of forgetting about it and dog-piling on the ambulatory bag of concentrated semen instead.  Nice to see Luka-clone is still doing his bit for world peace.

And bonus harem scene.

There’s actual fucking this time around.  Shiva has ditched the snake tail and is riding away at one end.  Luna-Tea is riding away on Luka-clone’s face at the other.  Satan is giving Luka-clone’s ass a good lick.  I think she might have stuck a feeler in there as well, but at that point the art was starting to get obscured by copious cum splatters.  Safi has her big tits resting on Luka-clone’s belly.  And Ariel . . . well I guess someone has to be the fifth girl.  Sorry Ariel.

Then it’s fade to white.  Or rather fade to sort of cream/white.

Let's Play Violated Hero 5! part 16

And we’re getting near the end of the Violated Hero 5 playthrough.  Barring any more twists and turns, we’re down to the last boss.  For the start of all this insanity go back to here.  Usual rules apply: if you’re underage or don’t like sex, please don’t go any further as you’re likely to see things you’re not supposed to.

Last up we finally found the missing minor boss, the darkwitch, and it turned out she had more HP than the other major bosses.  This proved no obstacle to Luka-clone and he took her down.

Did he actually win one for real this time (as opposed to previously defeated bosses getting right up after the fight and attempting to jump his bones)?  The darkwitch says his light is too strong and starts to fade into the darkness.  Ah, but as long as there’s abyss she will be reborn.  There looks to be a lot of abyss.  So no change here either.  Oh well, time to push on to Shiva.

Onto stage two of abyss and is that the silhouette of another mini-boss?

Yep it is.  Her name is Remedy and she’s some sort of witch with melty legs.  Most of the mini-boss ends so far have been more brutal than sexy.  What does Remedy have for us?

A really brutal handjob it seems.  Afterwards she takes the rare (for VH5 mini-bosses) step of not killing us.  She wants to keep us as a pet, but the text makes it clear that’s not likely to be a long life before we’re emptied out.

For the rematch I one-shot her for spite with the nice new special attack Luna-Tea and Satan gifted me.

Then it’s a straight run to the end where Shiva is waiting.  She tells us we’ve been a bit a bit slow in arriving and shows us the consequences of that.

Um, that looks bad.  At least all the annoying early bosses with their things-in-the-ass Bad Ends are going down first.

Shiva mentions this has happened before, I think.  Unfortunately we’re going to struggle for good translation here if the story gets too complicated.  Because of her curse Luka-clone has to defeat her to save the universe.  I think she wants him to defeat her but because of the curse is going to fight to the best of the ability.  As best of her ability is universe-shredding Destruction God I suspect this might be a little tricky for our heroic ambulatory bag of concentrated semen.

It’s the last battle.  I have 6 super potions remaining.  Let’s see how many zillions of HP I have to get through.

Oh.  That’s less than the darkwitch.

Oh wait.  This is going to be one of those multi-stage things.

And indeed the combat cuts out after we knock half her HP off.

Shiva says she’s having fun and all her previous wounds heal up.  The end-game harem of Luna-Tea, Satan and Safi all show up to cheerlead.  Well, they try to seal Shiva, but that doesn’t work so well so it’s back to Luka-clone.

The game thoughtfully gives an option to go back to the item screen.  This is great as I can preserve my remaining super potions by using the basic HP and MP potions to max out my HP and MP.  And round 2!

Shiva has now reached the same level as her minion with a 1000 HP.  Okay, so she absorbs damage a lot better.  Everything is doing less than 100 per hit until I unleash the tier 4 special attack and knock of about 300 HP.  This triggers interlude number 2.

Time for Shiva to take the gloves off.  She goes all glowy and then it’s time for round 3.

This time her glowiness is reflected in the artwork as her hands glow with destructive magic (this is the same picture that’s on her profile on the VH5 website).  Her HP have increased, but only to 1200.

Her attacks do a lot more damage this time.  As this is likely to be the last battle I alternate between tier 4 special attack and super potion.  About four hits later and I’ve won.  But the likely harem shenanigans will have to wait until next blog post as we always show the Bad End first.

C’mere alt!Luka-clone.

This time Ariel doesn’t sneer or run away.  Luka-clone tells her to go and save whoever she can.

Not that it’ll matter.  Shiva’s gonna blow up everything.  She tells Luka-clone to enjoy extinction with her.

Bad End scene one looks like we’re about to get a good suck.  Either that or she’s about to fry Luka-clone’s erection with lightning.

She’s a lamia type, so Luka-clone gets all coiled up in snake body first (although it’s described as feeling slimy like a slug.  Snakes don’t feel like that as any exasperated herpetologist will tell you).  She also has the long snake tongue as well.  After that’s tugged a big load from Luka-clone she takes him in her mouth for a good long suck.

Next scene and Luka-clone is all bound up in snake tail while she rubs his erection against the outside of her pussy.

Translation gets a bit tricky again.  I think Luka-clone tries to talk her out of annihilating the universe.  She says it’s impossible unless anyone can solve the curse branded to her body.

Then they start fucking.  Shiva makes Luka-clone come and then makes him watch while she destroys the tree world containing his village and presumably friends and family.

Yeep.  Even I’m not that brutal.

Horrorhead:  You can be.  Be like Brian Keene.  Let me out.  We’ll destroy a world or three.  It’ll be fun.  Let meee ouuuttttt.

And then she keeps on making him ejaculate while she blows up world after world.

So much for my theory of Shiva having so much fun playing with Luka-clone she’d be distracted from destroying everything.  I guess that brings a whole new meaning to fucking someone while something they love is destroyed in front of them.

Even though everything has turned dark we still get an interlude before presumably Shiva’s extra scene.

Shiva is disappointed the person who could have solved her curse never arrived before she obliterated everything.  Now the rest of existence is collapsing, including the abyss.  Shiva decides her last moments will be having sex with Luka-clone.  She switches to a more human form and sits astride him for one last fuck.

And they fuck, with everything going dark around them.

It turns out there is more to Shiva’s action than seeking a last burst of hedonistic pleasure.  She doesn’t want to be solely a goddess of destruction.  She also wants to be a goddess of creation.  She’s doing this with Luka-clone because she wants to conceive and when she does conceive she tells Luka-clone that this will be the next world to replace everything that was destroyed.

Everything fades to black apart from a tiny spark in Shiva’s belly.

Okay so that was unexpected.  As much as I joke about when Dieselmine gets things wrong, I’m going to have to congratulate their writers here.  They did a very good job with that ending.
