Art of Queen Colubridis (from House of Hellish Harlots)

Continuing the theme of art of harlots, here's Queen Colubridis in all her gluttonous glory.

This commission was mine.  After seeing how the first Khanara Anandanum came out for Mark45.  I looked at Marwmellow's DeviantArt page, saw a lot of lovely lamias, and reckoned they'd be perfect for drawing Queen Colubridis.

Queen Colubridis is another one of the harlots from my erotic horror interactive fiction game "The House of Hellish Harlots".  In it, you the player have to try and survive the night in a brothel filled with hungry succubi and other monster girls.  It's still a work in progress and has morphed into a slightly more ambitious project than I originally thought.  There are over 50 harlots to interact with.  You can check it out here.

The money for the commission was raised through my Patreon.  If you'd like to support the creation of more works like this, please consider subscribing.  This month I'll be looking into other alternatives to Patreon as well.  I know some people refuse to use Patreon for ideological reasons (which I fully understand).

Art of Khanara Anandanum (from House of Hellish Harlots)

Here is some nice art of Khanara Anandanum, one of the stranger harlots in the House of Hellish Harlots. She's the slime/slug/lamia monster girl that wraps her lower body around the player and overwhelms them with bliss.  This is a nice teasing pin-up of her upper body.  The dress is billowing, but we can't see what's beneath...

Credit and thanks again to Mark45 for having this commissioned.  He is also responsible for the Pori the Love Sponge piece and the lovely Nurse Honey pieces.  So again, many thanks.  You can find a gallery of the other work he's had commissioned on Eka's Portal here.

The artist this time is Marwmellow.  They have a gallery on DeviantArt here and can be found on twitter @kaputemachine.  I quite like their soft focus, slightly more realistic anime style.

I notice quite a few lovely lamias in that gallery.  I might put in some enquiries and see if I can get a pic of Queen Colubridis commissioned...

More lovely art of Nurse Honey

Thank you again to Mark45 for having this commissioned and for allowing me to share it here.  The artist is Marco Marco and can be found on twitter as @hiradeira.

Nurse Honey is suspiciously coquettish here.  I suspect someone is about to get in too deep.

More Potential Covers for "A Succubus for Christmas"

 Getting closer, I think.

1. My current favourite (and why I put it first).  Abstract enough that the usual AI weirdness doesn't seem out of place.  I think I might change the font colour from gold to silver to make it stand out from the background.

2. Technically the 1st from filenames, but I thought I'd change the order to put the good one first.  This one has similar problems to the old pic I posted and is the weakest of the 4 options in my opinion.

3. Okay, but maybe not as good as 1 and 4.  I like that she appears to be wearing some kind of bondage mask.  Gold again might not the right choice for the font.

4. My second favourite.  The colours are nice and vibrant.  Has a decent impression of a feminine figure without falling into the uncanny valley problems.

Thoughts?

More Potential AI Art Covers

I'm still playing around with AI art for covers and have mocked these examples up.

Given how Wombo works, and the difficulty when it comes to human figures/faces, I think it's best to fully lean into the abstract aspects.  I'm also hoping I might be able to lure some more mainstream horror readers over, and I think the usual smiling anime succubus might scare them off.

It's not ideal.  That would be getting a decent fantasy artist and commissioning art similar to the old Weird Tales covers.  I'm not sure I have the budget for that or even know where to find someone to do it.  I'm also conscious I need to get these ebooks back up, sooner rather than later.

I think these are better than the Christmas example, but are they good enough?

(The Freedom one I think is, Halloween and Remembrance are borderline, but might be abstract enough to get away with it.)

Lovely Photo Manip inspired by "Vampiric Boobies"

Normally, I regard Twitter as a horrible place.  I have a twitter handle on there (@manyeyedhydra), but for the last couple of years I've only used it to post dry updates of projects in progress.  The number of potential negative interactions far far outweigh the potential positive interactions on that platform, especially if you're someone like me who slaloms all over the usual political lines.

This was one of those rare positive interactions as I got tagged in on a thread where a photo manip artist had posted a piece inspired by one of my stories.  I liked it and asked if I could share, and the artist agreed, so here we are:

I don't know if it's meant to be Acarina or another vampire girl inspired by her.  Either way it's a really good interpretation of the blood draining scene from "Vampiric Boobies".

If she's anything like Acarina, that poor bloke is about to be given a horrible choice...

The artist is @Smut_Demon on twitter.  They regularly post photo manips of succubi, vamps and aliens, and they're pretty damn good from what I've seen.

Wombo-ing up the House of Hellish Harlots website

This is a x-post from my patreon (where I posted a few more pics, coz they can't all fit in this post).

If you've checked out the House of Hellish Harlots website recently, you might have noticed it has a little bit more colour now.

My webdev skills are rudimentary at best (probably less, to be honest - when it comes to IT I'm more of the backend math model coding type).  It looks vaguely okay on my laptop, but I haven't been able to test it for other devices.  If it looks like ass on your display (rather than just garish - that's intentional! :D ), let me know.

The art is from the new viral AI art toy, WOMBO Dream, you might have seen floating around on social media.  You can play with it here:
https://www.wombo.art/

You feed it some keywords or phrases, and it spits out an impressionist painting in a variety of different styles (I'm guessing they're using some kind of neural network and trained it on a massive art catalogue).  Obviously, me being me, I fed it a bunch of filth and the results were... interesting.

Currently, the AI only really seems good for abstract and impressionist works.  It seems fairly difficult to get anything resembling a human form out of it, with "house7" below being the closest I got.  Most of the time it spits out a weird jumble of body parts and facial features that looks bad rather than weird or disturbing.

I like it more with buildings and room interiors.  The lines are still 'off', but they're off in a way that looks weird and hallucinatory.  Especially if you feed it conflicting terms such as "house" with "hellish" and "sexual pleasure"/"perversion".  That results in the AI blurring the lush voluptuous curves painted by the old masters with the regular lines of a building, and resulting in something that's 'off' in an interesting and slightly perverse way.  Perfect for the House of Hellish Harlots, which is more than it appears!

I'm not sure if the developers intended it as anything other than a fun toy, but it seems to me like a really good way to produce abstract art for album or book covers (especially for self-published authors).  Looking up the guidelines for use, the people that made the app don't want people trying to sell the artwork, but seem okay with people using it as album/book covers.  I don't know how long that will stay in place as I suspect other people will latch onto the usefulness fairly quickly.

In the meantime I thought some of these would make nice background art to brighten up the website.  It's a nice interim fix to hold me over until I can get some proper artwork commissioned.

HoHH Art Commission - Alsharajea Hira, the Corruptress

After seeing how Pori turned out, I contacted the artist, and ran a poll for patrons to pick a HoHH harlot to have art commissioned for.  Alsharajea Hira, the Corruptress won and this is the finished result.

Reception on Patreon has been pretty mixed.  I think a lot depends on how thicc you like your succubi.  Personally, I think it conveys her raunchiness pretty well, but I also understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea.  We all have different preferences.

I hope you enjoy anyway.

The artist is HunggryCroissant.  They have a gallery on Eka's Portal here, and they gave me this link as their artist page if you'd like to contact and commission them:
https://croissantx.carrd.co/

I've put aside a little war chest for character commissions, so I hope to get more harlots commissioned in the future.

Art of Pori, the Love Sponge

Pori, the Love Sponge is one of the harlots in "The House of Hellish Harlots".  The public demo of that has been updated to v0.025 and can be played here.  Here is a lovely pic of her, showing her in all her comfy loveliness.

While I'd love to say I was responsible for this, the piece was independently commissioned by Mark45 and he kindly gave me permission to share it.

The artist is HunggryCroissant and more of their work can be found here.

I like this.  If I was to add art to HoHH it would be through profile pictures like this.  The ideal GUI for HoHH would likely take the form of a book with artwork on the left page and the text on the right.  Unfortunately, I lack the wherewithal to create this, so the project will likely stay text-only for the moment.  What I did think of doing was to create a profile page on houseofhellishharlots.com and list all the harlots with profile pics and details (Kind of like Monster Girl Encyclopaedia, but if all the monster girls were offering services in a massage parlour/brothel).  Art like this would be perfect for that.

Art of Nurse Honey being... absorbing.

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted on email by someone asking if they could borrow one of my characters for an art commission.  I'm nearly always okay with this as long as the artist/commissioner leaves a note detailing where the character came from.  It's a very nice feeling as a writer to create a character people like enough to make/commission art of!

After seeing the results, I asked for permission to share the results here.  That was kindly granted, so here we are.

Warning: Sex with Nurse Honey can be very absorbing!

The art was commissioned by Mark45.  They have a userpage on Eka's Portal here:

https://aryion.com/g4/user/Mark45

If you like Monmusu Quest's vore-ier monster girls, you can find some other nice pieces in their galleries.

The art was created by TheBigBrap.  You can find their Eka's Portal page here:

And their Patreon here should you wish to commission your own pieces:

Art Commission - Setouchi's Illustration of Volumpula

A while back I set aside some money for an art commission of Volumpula. That fell through unfortunately. Fast forward to about a week or so ago and one of my patrons (thanks Stephen!) pointed me in the direction of Skeb, a Japanese site that facilitates commissions of various artists, including some of the artists of Monster Girl Quest. I love Setouchi's work, especially his gooey slime girls, and put in a request. This is the result:

It's lovely. Volumpula does make for a nice soft comfortable bed while she gently drains away all that... tension. If you're not aware of who Volumpula is, she's a pink cushionblob. About a year or so ago, while first experimenting with Twine, I created a couple of monster girl CYOAs. One of which was "Escape Volumpula, the Pink Jelly". That can be played here: Escape Volumpula, the Pink Jelly Setouchi did a great job here. I love his monster girls in Monster Girl Quest, so to be able commission him to draw one of mine is a dream come true. I'll talk a bit about Skeb.jp, in case any of you are interested in commissioning pieces for yourselves (which I highly recommend). It's an intermediary site. You put in a request. It's put to the artist. They say yay or nay, and then you get the piece within a certain time period. Setouchi was very very fast with both acceptance and delivery. Some things to note. You deal through the site and not with the artist directly (In fact it is frowned upon to contact them outside of the site). English requests are translated to Japanese with DeepL. As with all machine translation, it's a good idea to run the output Japanese through the translator to make sure you roughly get back to the original English. (I originally described Volumpula's colour as "cherry-blossom pink", which came out as "cherry red" - glad I caught that one!) Payment is taken on submission of request and then held until the artist delivers the piece, so make sure you have the money up front. The work is for personal rather than commercial use. I think that means it's okay to stick it up on a blog or social media site, but not okay to package it up in a game for sale without asking the artist for additional permissions beforehand. This means I'll need to find a different approach if House of Hellish Harlots progresses to the point of needing artwork. If you have a favourite monster girl from MGQ and would like to see more pieces of her in action, I'd recommend dropping in a request. As you can see from Setouchi's page, there are a lot of MGQ pieces requested by fans. There are also other MGQ artists on Skeb such as Shiki (although currently closed to commissions) and Xelvy. Overall I found it an easy and professional site to use. I think I might commission a few more pieces in the future. Never hurts to have more artwork of sexy monster girls and succubi floating around!

Can anyone recommend a good slime girl artist?

My initial plan was to use some of those lovely patreon bux to commission some artwork of Volumpula to go with her CYOA.  (when I finally finish the monstrous thing - Volumpula, do you have to play with your food this much?)

Unfortunately this appears to have fallen through.  No money changed hands, so there's nothing to worry about there.  The artist didn't get back to me after initial contact, so I have to assume they're busy, or the commission wasn't something that interested them.  Nothing wrong with that.  It happens.

I'm still keen to get a piece done (mainly as a thank you for the people that have contributed).

Here are the details of the piece:

Character Detail

Name: Volumpula

Description:
She's a slime girl with so much additional mass it forms a bed-like blob beneath her.   Her human part looks like a gorgeous woman in her mid-twenties with a voluptuous hourglass figure.  The blob part looks somewhere between a large circular waterbed or gigantic over-stuffed cushion.  Both blob and woman look like they're made out of translucent pink jelly (standard slime girl transparency).  Shade of pink should look more unnatural rather than being mistaken for human skin tone (should look more like berries or artificial plastic/rubber).

Here's a pic of Milfy from the Violated Hero 2 game to give an idea of what I mean (she was the primary inspiration for Volumpula).  Volumpula is pinker, bustier and the bed/blob part is bigger.

Any resemblances between Milfy and Volumpula are purely... ahem... incidental.
She has a glamourpuss face with sensual pouty lips and big eyes.  Her "hair" is a slightly darker shade of pink, "big", curly (given her slimy composition will look more like froth) and cascades down to below her shoulders.

The soapland slime girl from the Wicked City anime is a good reference point for hairstyle.  It's a nice callback as she's the first instance of a sexy slime/blob girl I can think of in popular(ish) culture.

His body-to-body massage got a little too close...

Pose:
Volumpula lounging seductively on her "bed" and looking out at the viewer as if she's trying to tempt them into joining her on her "bed".

Background:
Optional.  The room has pink padded walls, floor and ceil.  A pink girl on a pink bed in a pink room is likely to be lost completely in a sea of pink if not done carefully!

If anyone knows an artist who might be a good fit for this, please drop a link to their work and commission rates in the comments below.

Alternatively, if you feel inspired and fancy creating your own representation, please feel free to go ahead and have fun.

Looking to Commission a Cover Artist for the Sandwiched by Series

Ah, the Sandwiched by series.  Originally it was supposed to be a series of 5-10K word novellas, wholly self-published by me, released monthly over the period of a year.  While the stories are only connected thematically (monster girl threesomes), I intended it to be a trial for later serials that did tell an ongoing story over the period of a year (Okasare Kenny).  Provided I could prove I had the discipline to keep to a monthly schedule (because I didn't want to launch into a proper continuous story and have it go AWOL after a couple of months).

That didn't go so well...

So much so, I think it's time for a relaunch and a Sandwiched by series that does adhere to the original vision.  I'm even making it easier for myself as the first 5 are already written (as well as chunks of 6 and 7).  So let's try and keep to a schedule this time so 2019 can be about the gorgeous, freaky, sexy weirdness of Okasare Kenny.

(I haven't forgotten about Succubus Summoning 301, don't worry.)

In keeping with the concept of relaunch, I think it's time I did a little more with the cover art.  I think the basic design is fine.  The monster girl silhouettes... less so.  Here are the originals for reference:

Was I trying to draw a spider or an ant here?

Originally, to contrast with the other silhouettes, I wanted the slimes to be blue and transparent.  I had nowhere near the art chops to make that a reality.

This one didn't turn out too bad.

Panic, panic, deadline approaching.  Stock art assets to the rescue...  To be fair, I didn't really give my brother (who's done most of my other covers and helped out with this one) much time to pull this one out of the bag.

Deadline panic again.  Less said the better.  As with the slime girls, I wanted to contrast these with the other silhouettes by making them flesh coloured.

At this point I'm looking for someone with decent art skills to redo the monster girl silhouettes/covers.  I'm looking for sexy stylised rather than anime for the monster girls.  Think old-fashioned chic.  Or something like Persona 5.  Stylish, basically.  I already have template files available and just need the monster girls positioned around them.

I'm willing to offer $40 per cover and there will likely be 12-13 pieces in total, meaning the overall commission will be worth around $500 if I like what I see.

Yes, I know this figure is more in the range of commissioning fan art than commercial artwork.  It's pretty much what I can afford and justify with current sales at this present point in time.  If I really like someone's work I might be pushed higher and of course, if sales increase I will have more money available for future projects.

There is a little bit of time pressure as I want to re-release Spiders around the 13th of January and would ideally need the artwork for that by the 10th.  Yup, it's short notice, but I'm hoping that as they're silhouettes, the pieces should be fairly quick and relatively easy to create.

If you're interested, please contact me at manyeyedhydraATgooglemail.com for more details.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for other places I can post this request without feeling like a human spambot (DeviantArt maybe?), please let me know.

Cheers.

Succubus Summoning Art - Nurse Honey by VezoniaArtz

Some more Succubus Summoning artwork for you today.  Here's a piece depicting Nurse Honey I commissioned from VezoniaArtz:

This is Nurse Honey in her much more intimidating Mamǝḵā Bēyˁṯān form.  I wanted this to be a companion piece to the Nÿte picture VezoniaArtz did for me earlier in the year and they did a great job again.

Hope you enjoy.

(Yes, I missed a Monmusu Quest: Paradox [part 2] playthrough post.  I'll be back to normal schedule on Saturday.)

Succubus Summoning Art - Nÿte by RaidouZERO

Some more lovely Succubus Summoning art by RaidouZERO.  This piece is of Nÿte.

I'm not sure if that's one of her prized skulls or a fresh victim about to be dropped onto her pile of "trash" skulls.  I like how her head wings seem natural and seem to fit in this picture.  I usually advise artists to leave them off, but they work with this style.

Here is RaidouZERO's original version on DeviantArt (where he also has links to some alternate versions with slightly different horns).  He's also done some lovely pictures of Nurse Honey and Verdé.

Thank you to Jude Duval/LudedWolf for commissioning the piece and RaidouZERO for creating it.

Succubus Summoning Art - Rosa

Yes, I know I was supposed to put a new part of my Monmusu Conquered World Text Play up today, but...

I went and commissioned another piece of Succubus Summoning artwork from the highly talented VezoniaArtz.  So how do we like Rosa?

I know I neglected her a little in Succubus Summoning 201 (It was a deliberate running joke).  I intend to make up for that when I get around to writing Succubus Summoning 301. ;)

Succubus Summoning Art - Nÿte

I'm happy to share another piece of gorgeous Succubus Summoning art on the blog today.  This is VezoniaArtz's interpretation of Nÿte.  I think they absolutely nailed it.

This was my first time at getting a piece of art commissioned.  I really liked the Verdé piece VezoniaArtz did for Jude Duval and thought they'd be perfect for Nÿte.  It was a great experience.  VezoniaArtz was very professional, thorough and fast.  Highly recommended.

And more artwork of hot succubi is always a good thing!

Succubus Summoning Art - Verdé 2.0

Jude Duval/Luded Wolf has been busy again and commissioned another piece of Verdé, this time from VezoniaArtz:

Verdé is a nature gal.  Her garden is so lovely you might just end up staying there forever...

Love this piece.  It reminds me of old fantasy art cards.  VezoniaArtz's style is really suited for dark fae type creatures.  You can check out the rest of their gallery on DeviantArt here.  I'm tempted to see how busy they are and whether they might be interested in doing a few more pieces like this of gothic succubi and other monster girls.  Any suggestions for H-space girls or other characters people would like to see done in this style?

Thanks again to Jude Duval for commissioning these pieces.

More Succubus Summoning Art - Verdé

Some more delicious Succubus Summoning art.  This time Verdé:

And also completely nude.

Come in close for a hug.  What could possibly go wrong...

Once again thanks to RaidouZERO for drawing it, and Jude Duval/LudedWolf for commissioning it.

(At some point I will get off my ass and start commissioning pieces of the H-space monster girls!)

Looking for Artists

Exactly as the title says.

After seeing the marvellous job RaidouZERO made of Nurse Honey and Jude Duval's sterling work in getting other Succubus Summoning 101 characters done, I thought it was time I got in on the art commission game.

For a while I've been regularly allocating X amount of money to one of my hobbies.  After losing a bit of interest in that hobby, I thought about it and realised I could take that $X I'd normally spend anyway and turn it into a budget for art commissions instead.  It's not a purely narcissistic impulse.  Projects like the H-space Monster Girl Bestiary would be 1000x better if the stories and profiles were accompanied by pictures like Yenn-Ash's beautiful Boob-Snake.

So the questions are what, who, when and how much is a fair rate to offer?

One project I have in mind is a series of pin-ups of the succubus characters in the new novel I'm working on.  These are something I want to splash around the internet to promote the book before it comes out.  This is, of course, reliant on me getting a little deeper on that novel (things went a little rocky on the first section for a while, but I think I might have dragged that one back on schedule).  It would be nice to have an artist (or artists) lined up in advance to have the pieces ready.

Another project is book covers.  This is a little bit more dull and prosaic out of necessity as Amazon and other online retailers are very strict on what can be put on a cover.  One thing I'd like to do is juice up the Sandwiched by covers.

Here are the existing ones for reference:

I like the font, layout and the design of a central "man" icon sandwiched by two amorous monster girls.  The monster girl silhouettes could be... better.  A lot better.  So if you can produce good silhouettes of monster girls and can handle weirder concepts such as "stomach girl" or "slug girl" in a relatively fast time frame, or know someone that can, I have some work (and money) I can throw your way (likely 12-13 pieces in total).

Coming back to the H-space Monster Girl Bestiary, I think this is the project that would benefit most from having some nice sexy artwork.  My $X won't be enough to do every monster girl, but it can start things off and if the early results are good, I'll try opening up a Patreon (or something similar) and see if that can keep the funding flowing for additional pieces.

(Also, getting this kind of framework off the ground might open up other possibilities. e.g. hentai games).

Then there's a question of which monster girls to start with.

One thing I was thinking of was to find an artist good at succubus/monster girl work (and also available for commissions) and give them a choice of 3-5 H-space monster girls within their area of speciality and see what they come up with.

Another fun approach might be to throw up regular polls and let you out there decide which one gets done next.

First up, I need to tap up some artists and find out their commission rates (to get an idea of how far I can stretch my $X).

If you know of any that would be a perfect fit and are currently open for commissions, please drop a link to their work (Deviant Art, Hentai Foundry, etc) in the comments and I'll see if I can throw some work their way.

Even better, if you are an artist that loves creating pictures of sexy succubi and monster girls, get in touch with your rates.  (I can be emailed at manyeyedhydra@googlemail.com)

The internet could always do with more pictures of sexy succubi and monster girls. ;)
